Monday Can Be Magic --- A New Way To Look At Life --- Day 36

Day 36

Feeling much better after this rotten little virus took hold late last week. That is GREAT, because as all the Boot Campers are saying, "We don't have time to be ill; we have people to share this great opportunity with!!!" They are right on, too.

Big Z is sitting with me tonight. He was doing his homework during the evening Boot Camp call. Which, was good as usual. The AM Boot Camp call was really good, too. These calls really provide a lot of great in the trenches information on how to grow a business from home.

For example:

"If I can show you a way that you can be making money back by buying groceries and gas and toilet paper, the things you buy everyday, would you like to learn more?"

If your answer is, "Yes! I'd like to make money every time I shop!" then click this link right here and watch the short presentation on the fastest way to earn income with a World Changer Mall Option: http://www.bigzgivesbig.com/. Become a World Changer and you can gain $600 in gas and grocery rebates over a year just for starters.

Every single person spends money. You might as well get paid for spending the money you spend everyday anyway.

And, what if you could get even more money for shopping for what you purchase everyday anyway? Well, you can. Get an American Express Gift Card and earn money; use the American Express card and shop in your mall and earn money--- there are 1100 plus stores you can choose from. You can even earn more money--- HOW?

You get team pay when you ask someone you know if they would also like to make money off of every purchase they make for groceries and gasoline, on their airline tickets, or rental cars, on their toiletries, on their glasses or vet bills. They'll likely be like YOU--- Of course they want a good deal.

Then get your own mall right here: http://www.bigzgivesbig.com/.

An added benefit is that every purchase you make in your own mall, while making money shopping on each of your purchases, you are helping fund the program One Child At A Time. One Child At A Time is funded by My Power Mall's parent company Together We Can Change The World. TWCCTW gives 6% of their profits solely for this project that supports children in need all around the world.

And if you like this idea of supporting a cause that's close to your heart, you may even GIVE a F'REE World Changer Mall to a charity of your choice and help them fund their efforts, and to help them pay their staff that is very much underpaid. You will be making a difference by doing the shopping that you do everyday anyway. What can get better than that?

"For such a time as this,"Ginny Dye says, "this company was created. For this time was coming, when people desperately need hope. We have the answer for them. And NPO's. The worse the economy is, the harder it is for them. They may have the heart to give but they don't have the funds to give. All over the globe they are hurting. We have the answer for them and it is so amazing." (quoted loosely, but as closely as I could, until the call is recorded and I can listen to the downloaded call again, from a My Power Mall Family Chat 1-26-09. You may listen in on these calls anytime you like by dialing 212-461-5800 and press this code 3497#. They happen every Monday evening at 6 p.m. P.S.T.) Ginny said that she now understands why this company was 8 years in the making . . . to be ready for times like we're experiencing in our world right now.

My Power Mall is something that may be integrated into every single day and every single person may benefit from.

To continue with our efforts for the day----

F/U with my neighbor this morning from El Salvador. Just as I suspected, she'd been feeling that her barrier with the English language prevents her from seriously looking more at Big Z's Foundation Mall. She added it's been challenging to have her and her son view the presentation together because she's working a lot in the evenings when he's home from school.

I'd given her a shoulder rub because she was tense and stiff. She had a day off today from cleaning. She cleans houses, churches and businesses for a living. I also let her borrow my chi machine for some added stress relief and said good-bye while she was using the machine.

I returned home and I followed up with the contact from Seattle who is moving East and who was interested in helping NPO's. She and her husband viewed the online videos yesterday evening at the library and they emailed me back. They want to hold on a business for now, but retain the information for another time. I left a VM as they weren't in and let them know that I would call as agreed by our previous conversation if I didn't hear back, early February. I will also follow up with an email to them, inviting them to have a Personal Mall.

I printed out and used a yellow hi-lighter the World Changer Video Presentation for my neighbor. I highlighted the most important things, and added a page from one of our updates on the grocery rebates. I thought that having a printed version would be easier for her to understand the great benefits she and her family would have, and, it would be easier for her to sit with her boy as he helped her with English.

I took the printed information to her and she could read the English much better than listening to it. So, she said if I would help her email and talk with her English speaking contacts, maybe she could do it. Then, her boy could help her with their Spanish speaking people. I told her we would be happy to help them because she and her husband work very hard. They take turns with the two kids. They are trying to give the kids a great life in America, and to enjoy their own time here, too. It is time that she doesn't have to work so hard cleaning all the time for others. It is time she can enjoy her time with her children and enjoy her time as a mother of two beautiful children. It is a time when her husband doesn't have to work quite so much after retiring once already. Yes, we will help them all we can. When we get a chance to meet again, we will see how she can get started to change their financial situation for the better.

I picked up Big Z from his school and we went directly to piano class where he's learning how to play "Sour Lemons." You can imagine how it sounds ;-). He was tired, but he perked up and had a great lesson.

When we got home, we got dinner ready and got to do some supportive blogging to our Boot Campers. Then we attended the evening Boot Camp Training Call and then the My Power Mall Family Chat. We're filled to the brim with good vibes and a positive outlook. A Monday really can be magic instead of the same old grind. It's been a great day ;-). We've now blogged and must head to bed . . . Good night, All. Sleep well.

Saturday Satisfaction --- Day 27

Day 27

I've spent much of today reading blogs, and reading The Next Millionaires by Paul Zane Pilzer, seeking current info he may have, and catching up on some house-keeping for office and home. I saw Big Z when he and his Dad came by to get some accouterments for a trip to the ice skating rink --- it's an indoor rink. What was most ironic about the trip to the rink was that this is our first SUNNY day in a long, long while. I got a trip on my bicycle in to the post office and felt the thrill of impending Spring ---never mind that it wasn't much above 30 degrees. I know, I know. Much warmer than some of the Campers have it.

All day I've been mindful of where I'm placing my energies. I realize I ought to be making calls, but I just can't get my head out of this Pilzer book. My thoughts are swimming, and before I say that it's giving me another affirmation that we're right where we're supposed to be in our lives, I want to finish it to make sure I don't miss anything that may change my opinion ;-). Ed, it's one good read ;-).

I spoke with a friend and MPM member last night. She and her family were on their way to D.C. to take in as much as they could of the events leading up to Obama's Inauguration Day. How very, very cool! I was able to share with her our newest bonus for being World Changers: $300 Certificate for Groceries. WOW! I just can't get over the benefit this will bring into our household ;-). If there were any time we could use it, it's n-o-w.

I also called a friend I haven't spoken with since last year. Left a message.

I called another friend from my home town that I missed seeing in November, and, didn't get another chance to call or see her at Christmastime. We had a very long visit, catching up, as we rarely get to do. She's got twins in college, a 13 year old at home, and she's taking a break from her own education while she adjusts to life without her beautiful twins, a boy and a girl.
She works hard for people in her community, and has always been civic minded. Due to the pinching of pennies, she's wearing about 5 different hats within her organization.

We once got to share a Relay-For-Life that she and her kids were participating in on one of my visits home. This was the first time we ever spoke about the concept of doing what we could to help the world. It was a very uplifting experience, and it was awesome to see how her kids relished the challenge of creating their own fundraising teams, and brought people together. My friend has a Together We Can Change the World Heart.

I caught her up on our life and what we are now doing to create income-- MPM and Reconnective Healing. She's on my old high school's Booster Club, so, of course, after we discussed how to solve the woes of the world (;-)), I let her know that MPM may be able to help fund the Booster Club. Right now, their main source of funding comes from the sales at the snack booths during games, which are mostly football. She ran down the list of cuts that have happened this year due to the economic situation at the school:

Hiring freeze
Grant helpers laid off
Reimbursements for school supplies being paid with IOU's
No increase in mileage reimbursements
Cola increase is zero
All field trips cancelled
No after school trips
No after school tutoring

Ouch. And I thought it was bad when I was a student.

I used the template in the back office to create an email to my friend, and I created an E-card for schools, and added the NPO voice message to it and sent her the link to learn more about having a f'ree World Changer Mall to fund the Booster Club after she said she would like to know more. I'll check in with her again on this. For years, I've wanted to have a way for us to spend more time together, and in collaboration on a project in which we can make a difference. This just **may** be the answer ;-).

Thanks to the Boot Campers who are paving the way. Gotta love you guys and gals, that's for sure.

Lastly, I emailed our friend at our credit union, as per the message in the blog last evening.

Wonderful Wedneday --- Day 8

Day 8

Happiness is having a great day. Or, is it better stated, Happiness is having the outlook of being happy? Happiness, like beauty, is in the eyes and hearts of the beholders.

We are happy ;-).

We met two wonderful women today. One was at our credit union and the other was bringing in carts in a grocery store parking lot. Well, OK, we almost ran into the line of carts she was bringing to the store cart parking area because we were walking forward and not paying as much attention to what was happening since Big Z was looking at the display at the entrance of the store and I was dreamy about the rosemary plants shaped as trees, the Christmas trees, the beauty and color, and the joy in having my son with me--- he carried the hand basket through the entire store to gather our supplies. Wow. He's getting BIG.

The woman at our credit union helped Big Z with his banking. He was depositing his allowance and distributing across his savings accounts, and with one intention. One intention only: to withdraw play money to go buy that Fox Jersey on discount at the bike shop we've been going to. The teller helping us was very kind and patient with us (as they all are when we bring in change, allowance $, gift money, etc. for this ritualistic distribution of cash across accounts).

Since she was so nice, and there was no one in line behind us, we asked if she would do us the favor of being one of our 5. She was. We found out she is a mom of a young boy, 10 months. She looked like she was getting all of her sleep and is beautiful, so we joked about the many, many sleepless nights new moms have with youngsters. She bent forward to hear Big Z's questions, and she was very willing to share her information so we can visit with her again. Her hopes with $2000 is to pay bills, and to pay more bills. This little fella has a great Mommy, we can just tell.

The other young woman collecting carts in the parking lot was a little caught off guard after we joked about almost walking into her pathway to park the line of carts by asking her if she minded if we talked with her for a little bit while walking with her to get more carts. She said it was OK, but still, wondered what we were up to. We hope that by the time we left her, we didn't startle her too much ;-).

This young woman was very conscientious. She said she didn't really spend a lot of money, but that she liked to save. If she had $2000, she would save it, and give some to an NPO (non-profit organization) that she likes, one that's associated with her church. If she had $2000/month, she kindly said that she would save some, maybe only buy groceries, maybe some clothes, but the rest she would give to her family. What a giving heart she has--- The Together We Can Change the World kind of heart.

We didn't realize when we looked at her contact information that we didn't have her phone number . . . We instead have her email and her address. This lets us know that sometimes, even when we think we are paying full attention, there are details that slip by.

We have sent them both emails using a tailored e-card with thank-yous and links to http://www.bigzgivesbig.com/ so they can view the online presentation that shows what MPM is all about, and how they can support causes closest to their hearts, pay of bills, give to those they love, and earn fuel rebates just for doing what they do everyday--- shopping for the necessities of living life.

We went to the bike shop to get Big Z's Fox jersey. Our favorite guy was there and we waved, but he was with a customer. So, we did our business of letting Z buy his shirt, knowing he was a part of our follow-up calls later in the evening. Big Z is so fun to watch when he spends his money. He takes great pride in his purchases, as he's not one to spend it lightly. But, when he knows what he wants and he has the cash in his play account to buy it, he does so with joyfulness.

I remember when I was young and I had my first job, a paper route. Well, my first job was really caring for my Grandmother, who had Parkinson's Disease, and she needed care 'round the clock. But, anyway . . . the paper route gave me my first spending cash, and later, it was my job at the local gas station/sporting goods/video store. What I most remember about having cash was the joy and pride I had when I wore my new school clothes to our local fair. It was different. I felt different knowing I had purchased those clothes instead of my parents. This creates an added admiration for my son when he's spending his cash and he's clearly glad to be doing it.

The Business Partnership Program is really appealing to us. We're talking about who is first on our list to approach. Here is a link to know more about this special program: http://www.businesspartnershipprogram.com.

We thank Linda B. for her efforts to spear-head the program, and for the 25 Official Boot Camp members who are putting it into play. Perhaps even the Alternates are now getting the info. GO, TEAM, GO!

(Readers new to our blog, you may learn more about the Official Campers at http://www.worldchangerrealitybootcamp.com/. All of the information about the Team, the Requirements, and their blogs, including the phone number to our daily motivational and training calls is there for YOU.)

We gave follow-up calls AFTER our Monopoly time yesterday. It was fun. I called while Big Z multi-tasked by watching "How Things are Made" on T.V. and listening to me calling.

We made 7 follow-up calls to our local people and left message for all of them. One of our people, our 8th, gave a call yesterday saying she was having trouble viewing the website, the blog, and just about everything we gave her. She didn't get to open our email as she was having computer issues, but we sent her another email from a different email account with the hopes that she could view the information on her sister's computer.

We created our e-cards for our two Canadian folks we met the other day at the grocery store and sent them. One had an email address that came back as invalid, however, we checked and checked and are sure it's right. We'll try to resend again. It's to an educational institution, so we are wondering if it was blocked since we have admin@bigzgivesbig.com as our email address. We'll try to send it to him from another account.

We gave follow-up calls to our leads. One lead that had come in on the 8th we got on the phone. She said it was a bad time. I thanked her for telling me and asked if there was a better time. She said that, "No there isn't." I asked if she was still looking for information about a home business, and she said, "No. I'm not looking any longer." I thanked her for her time and wished her and her family a happy holiday.

I called another woman and a fellow answered. She was away from the house for another 30 minutes or so. I left my name and info with him so she can contact me, and I will call again in 5 days.

I called our last person, and she answered. She was wonderful to visit with for a few minutes. She had a kind voice, and she had requested information, and she was still wanting to know more. However, her Seattle number rang in Missouri and it was 10 PM! Her address showed she lived in a town called Ozark, and I said that I'd never heard of that town in Washington State! She and her husband have just moved there, something they've wanted to do for a long time, as they have family in Missouri and in Iowa. Her husband's previous employers just sold the business, so, they figured they may as well just move.

She told me she had saved my message and planned on calling me to get together next week when she and her husband flew back to Seattle to put their house on the market. They will be here for a few months. We made plans to talk again when she gets to Seattle, and is settled. We agreed that I would call her on Wednesday if she hadn't called by then. She lands on Sunday night, and I told her to call anytime she felt like she had the time for it.

My call with this very kind woman was the perfect way to end our calls for the day--- on a very friendly note, with the joy that a good bit of visiting will soon take place ;-). We like creating new friends ;-).
