Hello MPM Members,

Happy New Year!! Whether you celebrated Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Solstice, or anything else, I hope you have had a restful, fun, loving, and rejuvenating couple of weeks. I know the team here at TWCCTW, Inc. were ready to back off and take some much needed time to rest, reflect and be ready for 2009. Everybody worked to some degree but we also had some time off.

I, for one, am excited and ready to blast into a New Year! But before I do, I would like to take a look back...

We started 2008 with 100,000 members. Today, we've had over 149,000 people join the My Power Mall family. I could talk about the technological advancements, all the new systems, the new tools we provided, or the new programs we created. I'm definitely proud of them but that's not where I want to put my focus for today's Update.

My Power Mall was born on the back of 4 white paper placemats over 2 years ago because I was searching for a way to make more money in order to fulfill the true purpose of this company - to make a difference in the world. As I looked back at 2008 the last couple weeks, it was those things that made my heart sing.

1) In April of 2008 we seeded a large sum of money to bring 20 Ugandan AIDS orphans here to the U.S. to perform as the SIFA Choir. They danced and sang their way through 20+ states and took back a huge sum of money to build a new school and orphanage. Along the way, 100's of My Power Mall members stepped up to set up concerts, host them in their homes, entertain them, donate money, and attend concerts. They stepped up to sponsor every one of the 20 children, ensuring they will have a quality education and excellent care back in Uganda. All of them are now attending a private boarding school and receiving the education they will need to live the dreams they have for their lives.

Money is still coming in - donations from My Power Mall members who have not forgotten the children who stole all our hears. The Ugandan government is giving 20 acres of land for the new school that is going up to help more of the 2.5 million orphans in that struggling company.
All because of YOU. The money to bring them here came from member shopping. The ability to keep them here and have housing came from YOU. So much of the money accumulated came from YOU. Each one of you making a purchase on the Mall continue to support the children who are now a part of our company forever.

2) Because of the generous, loving hearts of Bill Rodman, Mark Shephard, Rilee O'Neill, the wonderful people of First Image Productions, the SIFA Choir, and others, a song was birthed into the world that has impacted so many people's lives. The Together We Can Change The World song and video has exploded into the world - inspiring and empowering so many people to make a difference with their lives.

Just one example came from a teacher and group of students... I got a letter from the teacher sometime in the Fall, explaining that her students had fallen in love with the song but that many of them did not have computers at home or a way to download it. This wonderful teacher collected the $1.50 per song from her students (a total of 87.00), and then made CD's for all of them with the song on it. She wrote me, asking where she could send the check.
I wrote her back and asked her to do something different... Have those same students take the $87.00, seed it into a way to make more money, and then give that money to an organization of their choice. An email came back weeks later, letting me know how thrilled the students had been to be entrusted with the money. They had a fundraiser, raised $400+, and donated it to their local homeless shelter. They were so excited to know THEY could make a difference with their lives.

This kind of story is being played out all over the world because of this song - only in existence because of My Power Mall members!

3) We have thousands of Non-Profits who have become My Power Mall members - using our system to create sustainable income.

4) We have had close to 1000 My Power Mall members set up their own Foundations, or Together We Can Change The World Foundations, and then build their business beneath them - making sure their efforts will be multiplied into a difference in the world as they also provide for their own financial freedom.

My Power Mall is so different from any other "business" out there. We are in existence to MAKE A DIFFERENCE, and we are attracting people with the same heart and passion. People are pouring into this company who are so excited to have found a way to provide for their own needs WHILE they make a difference - whether through supporting their own Non-Profit, seeding it through a Foundation Mall, or simply knowing their shopping is supporting children all over the world.

When I look back at 2008, these will always be the things that shine brightly in my memory. All the other work was done simply to support these kinds of events and "giving opportunities". As we move forward into 2009, these will be the things that continue to motivate me and energize me. You can be sure the entire TWCCTW, Inc. team feels the same way.
So what is ahead for 2009??

1 - Next Tuesday, January 6th, we will launch a brand new Business Site with a new look and new presentations. I consulted closely with industry experts and then made the home page much simpler, and the presentation videos much shorter. We also have one exclusively for International members - created after consultation with several of our International members.
2 - Tuesday, January 6th, will also be the release of a new benefit for any 501C3 registered non-profit organization, house of worship, or school in the world. They will now receive a World Changer Mall for FREE. Since My Power Mall was created to give us more of an ability to give to organizations making a difference in the world, we've decided to just give them the Mall that will best create income for them.

This is ONLY available to 501C3 registered non-profit organizations, houses of worship, or schools. It will not apply to Foundations you may want to set up. We will be verifying each NPO membership.

In addition to being a good thing for organizations, it will be a very powerful tool for you as you build. You can now offer the World Changer Mall to any NPO, and then offer to help them build.

3 - I have special 90 second to 3-minute marketing videos in production that will be able to be customized with your MPM Biz site. Once they are done, you will be able to use them to market to people you know, post on Social Networking sites, or anything else we will be able to direct you to.

4 - We are creating a special program where you will be able to purchase leads we generate ourselves - exclusive to MPM.

5 - We will be doing a lot of corporate marketing that will give even more exposure to the company and allow us to thoroughly test any marketing ideas that will be powerful for you to use.

There are a lot of "behind the scene" systems work that is always happening but our primary focus for the months ahead is GROWTH.

GROWTH in membership.

GROWTH in online shopping.

GROWTH in American Express card purchases.

GROWTH in our ability to MAKE A DIFFERENCE - first in your life, and then throughout the world!

2009 is going to be the best year yet in My Power Mall history. I can easily predict that for the entire company, but only you can predict that for your business. So what's it going to be for you?

Will 2009 be your best year?

The quote at the top of the Update says it all -

The choices you make today will determine the rest of your life.

What choices will you make today about your business?

What choices will you make tomorrow?

The choices will dictate the results at the end of each day!

This Mark Victor Hansen Rich Result Newsletter was one that got me excited about creating a plan for my new year. I copied it to my computer and printed it out. I was on my way to a seminar, and some time away from home and Big Z. I intended full well to sit with myself in some down moments and go over Mark's recommendations. Alas, as I've been contemplating 2009 and where I might find a copy of this to share, I find after my search that 4 years have passed since I first saw this. And, though I've done some goal setting and visualizing about what I want in my life, I have NOT gone through this gem.

Hmmm.

Well, may you have a different experience than I and follow the other Boot Campers. Many of them will be setting their sights on new milestones after the break the last few weeks. They will rededicate themselves to their commitment as World Changers and Boot Campers. Follow their lead, and spend some time thinking about your own goals. Then, lets us both take action to not only think about them, but to write them down and visualize them together.

101 Gold Rush Challenge

Dear Friends: I love a good challenge, and I hope you do too! What I know is that you were meant to experience abundance in EVERY facet of your life, and it's your job to choose what that is. I've told people thousands of times that the reason they don't have what they want is because they haven't asked for it. This is where my challenge starts.

Create your phenomenal life NOW by taking my 101 Goal Rush Challenge!

I want to start you on a wonderful path of making your dreams reality. Before we set off on this path together, let me make one thing very clear: The word "goals" can be intimidating - it can feel so overbearing that it keeps people from beginning the process. This is why I tell my audiences to pretend they are a kid again when they are thinking about their goals.

What kid do you know that didn't have a bazillion things they wanted or wanted to do? Why 101 goals? Many people will tell you to write down your goals, but where I am different is I tell people to write down too many goals.

Here's why:

1.> Goals have different gestation periods. Some are accomplished quickly, some take many years.

2.> When we reach a goal, it loses power and importance for us. We need plenty more to keep our conscious and subconscious mind at work!

3.> The rule of the universe is abundance. Since you can have almost everything you really want, why settle for less? Do your goals have to be accomplished tomorrow? Next week? This year? Of course not! Your goals can be added to, subtracted from and achieved as you move through life.

Here is a checklist to ensure you're using a successful framework to set your 101 goals.- Your most important goals must be YOURS. Not your spouse's. Not your child's. Not your employer's. Yours. When you let other people determine your definition of success, your sabotaging your own future.- Your goals must MEAN something to you. Your reasons for charting a new course of action gives you the drive and energy to get up every morning.

- Your goals must be SPECIFIC and MEASURABLE. Vague generalizations and wishy-washy statements aren't good enough. Be very specific! If you want to learn to swim make sure you write, "I am taking swimming lessons at my local community center." If you write, "I want to learn to swim," you may find yourself sinking in a boat on a lake and learning the hard way!

- Your goals must be FLEXIBLE. A flexible plan keeps you from feeling suffocated and allows you to take advantage of genuine opportunities that walk in your future door.

- Your goals must be CHALLENGING and EXCITING. Force yourself to jump out of your comfort zone to acquire that much needed energy and edge.

- Your goals must be in ALIGNMENT with your values. Pay attention to your intuition, your gut. When you set a goal that contradicts your values, something inside will twinge.

- Your goals must be WELL-BALANCED. Make sure you include areas that allow time to relax, have fun and enjoy.

- Your goals must be REALISTIC. Be expansive but don't be ridiculous. If you're four feet tall, you'll probably never play in the NBA.

- Your goals must include CONTRIBUTION. (Ginny will like this one!) Unfortunately, many people get so wrapped up in perusing their goals that they don't have time in their lives to give something back to society. Build this into your goals program.

- Your goals need to be SUPPORTED. Either selectivity share a few of your dreams with a number of people, or share all of them with a select few. In either case, you're creating a web of support and accountability for yourself.

There is no such thing as unrealistic goals, only unrealistic time frames.

THIS WEEK’S ACTION STEP

Go for the Gusto - 101 Goals!

You're now going to embark on the greatest exercise you've ever done. You're going to make your list of 101 goals. Take out your Future Diary, journal or workbook. Or, better yet, go back top my website at www.markvictorhansen.com and print the 101 Goals Form we provide in my Goal Rush Challenge section.

If your working in a journal or sheet of paper, number the lines 1-101. Turn on some relaxing music. Sit back and relax. Close your eyes. Take a deep breath.

Now, open your mind to ALL the possibilities. Limitations and restrictions have NO place in your life anymore. They don't exist.

As you begin to visualize EVERYTHING you want, write your goals down. I want you to start each goal with "I am" or "I will."

Ask yourself questions like:

• What do I want to do?
• What do I want to have?
• Where do I want to go?
• Where do I want to live?
• How many homes do I want to have?
• What contributions do I want to make?
• What do I want to learn? From whom? Where?
• Who do I want to spend my time with?
• How much do I want to earn, save and invest?
• What's my idea net worth?
• What will I do for fun and optimum health?

I further challenge you to write them in 20 minutes. Think like a kid... ask, ask, ask, ask! It you need more time, take it... keep going!

You may want to be the president of your own company or get a 4-year free-ride scholarship to the university of your choice. But you may also want to learn to swim or write a book.

As you write your goals, don't go back and read them. If you do so, you'll probably find that you begin judging every goal - and yourself - for wanting them. Just write... then say to yourself:

"This is so. I'm predicting and announcing it to myself."

Happy Birthday to Mr. Big Z

Today, a grand day in the life of a parent --- A birthday celebration.

Big Z turned 9 today!!!

He's REALLY excited, so much so that he's talking about his new age every hour.

Big Z began his day with his Dad and his cat.

He joined me mid-day. Our celebration was small, knowing that his "official" party will occur later in the month, when all have returned from their trips, snow is past, and time permits.

We began with a movie at the show, "Bolt." Then we had the great fortune of playtime with a friend, cake and candles, ice cream, home-cooked meals, Pokemon games, the card game war, and a sleep-over. It was very nice to be cozied up in the house after our long trip, warm and toasty, as the rains poured outside.

Big Z was really, really happy, and I was really, really glad to get to share the day with him.

To Me, "Watermelon" is the Slice of Life by Wally Amos

"How do you keep from getting sidetracked by the daily distractions in life? I have created two reminders that help me stay focused and positive.

"Write on a sheet of paper, 'I can be five times more enthusiastic about life!' Underline five times five times. Rip the paper in half and ball the two pieces in a tiny wad. Put a rubber band around the wad to keep it together. Put it in your pocket or your purse.

"It's been 12 years since I first did this exercise in a classroom in Charlotte, North Carolina. I've gone through a few wads of paper because when I lose or give one away, I immediately create another. I feel lost if I do not have it in my pocket.

"Not only does it remind me to be more enthusiastic, but also more loving, more giving and more faith-filled. It's a constant reminder that I can always increase the positive characteristics of life times five, times five, etc. Use it and see if it works for you.

"The second was inspired by a variety of sources. It's a credo based on watermelon -- my favorite symbol of life. I've given each letter in watermelon a positive meaning.

W --- Whatever you believe creates your reality.

A --- Attitude is the magic word.

T --- Together Everyone Achieves More (TEAM).

E --- Enthusiasm is the wellspring of life.

R --- Respect yourself and you will respect others.

M --- Make commitments, no excuses.

E --- Every day can be a fun day.

L --- Love is the answer.

O --- One day at a time.

N --- Never give up or become a victim.

"Why not create your own credo using something personal and special to you? Review it frequently. Share it with others. If it inspires and motivates you, it will do the same for them. One or both of these techniques might just be the answer to help you Be Positive. Happy New Year!"
