Day 14
We shall be off! I-5 here we come!
Whilst we drive, we will be listening to the conference calls (YEAH!). It feels like deja-vu, as I made this trek a few weeks ago, the 26th of November while Big Z was in Florida soaking up the rays with his Dad on the beach (O.K. he really went to visit his Dad's side of the family).
As I drove, I felt so much a part of the Boot Camp, and as each mile passed from the a.m. call, I couldn't wait to get to the p.m. call. You all were great company, and, it was only deep into my trip that I learned, and was so grateful, that the 5015# number WAS NOT creating phone quality issues in spite of my tuning in via cell. I cannot tell you how many wonderful things I did while listening to you on the calls in California, and, upon my trip home.
The goal this trip is to at least stay current with the calls. I realize now that I've had a few hours of shut eye, that last night we missed the Family Chat . . . Oooh, bummer. I'll see if it's posted before we leave.
We have a relatively few follow-ups, but the ones we do, we hope to keep up with. I'm noting that there are still a lot of unopened emails that we've sent, so, I'm guessing the e-cards are being sent into the spam box. We may have to consider changing our address at some point for the Foundation Mall.
I realized yesterday that upon our return home, we need to step up our efforts and add some extra days to our boot camp (perhaps 10). We still expect to finish in fine fiddle. Depending upon how our time between 4 households in California goes, and our connections to Internet, we may even utilize some leads . . .
And, now that this trip has the bonus of having invitation cards, we're likely to be using them while were traveling ;-). I'd so wished I'd had them a few weeks ago. lol.
We'll check in as we can from the road. Until then, we wish you all a safe and joyous Christmas. And, I know that everyone's efforts will pay of in a very big way coming into 2009. Ginny has set us upon a course of success. Enjoy!
