Saturday's Baby Shower and More

The Beauty and Comfort of Friends and the Hope of New Life

IE snafu is b-a-c-k . . .

Today was the real test when I opened lots of windows to prepare for Live Chat Operator time at 0600. IE froze again . . . it's still stuck as I type from FireFox browser. Bummer. A solution must be nearby.

Late into the evening, the problem still exists. Guess I don't have the problem fixed after all.

Mid-morning and to late afternoon, however, the day was spent amongst a large group of women in honor of the new baby coming to town . . . It was a delightful experience, one which demonstrated the true power of giving and appreciation of friends, and, the wonder of new life. I felt truly blessed to be among so many wonderful women.

Though the food served was home-made and the best tasting since I can't remember, the most touching, gentle and loving part of this event was the creation of a chain of beads in a ceremony for Mom and Baby. A few times there wasn't a dry eye around and it was incredibly beautiful, inspiring, and a wonderful way to send our good wishes for mom and baby during delivery and into life afterwards. We had grandmothers, and mothers, and sisters, and nieces and friends all the way from meeting as friends next door to the recent years. WOW. Each one of us brought a special bead (oh, some of the stories of these beads was really, really cool) and as we strung it onto the chain of beads, we got to share with Mom and baby our prayers, thoughts, hopes, and appreciations of them and for them and their family.

The outpouring of love really felt "pregnant" with Hope for our world and people who are so challenged right now. (Sorry about that pun, it just felt right.)

Afterwards, I was blessed to go on a brisk walk in the cool dusky air with our friend's doggie, and it was lovely to hear the geese come into the lake to bed down for the night --- their gentle honk, honk, honking a comforting sound as we trekked with busy steps in a race with impending darkness. The darkness won, but our spirits were lifted and we were "dogged-out" when we made it back to the house ;0).

It was truly a renewing and inspiring day.

NBC Reports on Soft Economy & How My Power Mall Can Help You

The Power in My Power Mall

The Together We Can Change The World Incorporated Division, My Power Mall, doesn't fall neatly into the category of Network or Multi-level Marketing, however, My Power Mall (MPM) carries its some of Network Marketing's best characteristics, and combines them with the best of Affiliate Marketing.

Another term I've heard used for Network Marketing or MLM is "Relationship Marketing" and to me, this describes it well, for without relationships, nothing exists; relationships are born on levels of trust and mutual respect. It is through our relationships that connections are made with people, networks are born, and it becomes the basis for many of our everyday purchasing and habits.

Consider how you shop for a doctor or a dentist; how you find a good place to eat; how you choose a school for your child; how you decide which trail to hike in the mountains; where you take your car for service; etc. Typically, you're asking someone else that you trust and know to share with you their information so that you may make a more informed choice.

MPM doesn't fit the traditional model because it blends together the bests of Affiliate Marketing and Network Marketing in order to achieve a business model that designed so that any person will be able to succeed by harnessing the power of their everyday spending.

In addition, it has a built-in opportunity to effect good into the world with each and every purchase through the One-Child-At-A-Time Program where 6% of the Corporate profits are given to children in need.

Click the link below and you will find an article and video by NBC about how soft economies generally are very good for home based business through the direct selling model.

http://www.nbc13.com/vtm/news/local/article/people_turn_to_network_marketing_in_soft_economy/59952/

What is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate Marketing is free to participate in
Affiliate Marketing is typically one tier, but can be two tiers
Training and support come from the company, not sponsor or upline, if any is received at all
Affiliate Marketing is selling products or free offers or lead generation
You get paid commission for the sale of product or the offer or lead
Generally speaking, only professionals of e-commerce, website development, and search engine optimization are the making real good money.

What is Network Marketing or MLM?

Network Marketing generally requires you buy a starter kit or pay to join
Network Marketing is structured so that you purchase the company's products
In Network Marketing, you have to qualify to earn income
Network Marketing has more than two tiers
There are buzzwords used, like upline, downline, sponsor, matrix, spill-over, binary, break-away
Compensation plans are usually hard to understand and take many pages to explain in MLM
Network Marketing requires that you recruit, train and sponsor others
Generally speaking, only those at the top make money in Network Marketing

What is the My Power Mall System?

**Note** This example is the best way to make money in My Power Mall, however, it is only one option: The World Changer Mall.

My Power Mall is a completely unique concept. Yes, the payment plan might look like a typical MLM or Network marketing structure. What makes us different?

First, you make money by earning automatic rebates from all your shopping – either locally or on the Internet with your own Online Shopping Mall with over 1100 stores – stores you already shop at every day.

You don’t have to buy overpriced items and then talk your friends and family into buying them. Don’t you buy groceries anyway? Don’t your friends buy groceries anyway?

Purchase a Gift Card, earn money for buying it and then go spend it – just like normal at ANY of the stores you already shop in. The higher the value of the card, the more money you will make when you purchase it!

You don’t have to talk people into going to meetings. We don’t have them! Just send them to this website and let it do the work.

And, there are no crazy qualifying games. Anyone who shops makes money. Anyone who tells a friend who shops makes money.

My Power Mall is designed it so you can make good money for just doing what the average person would do. You can make more if you want to be more than average, but that is up to you.

It’s only going to cost you $29.95 to get started, and $15.95 a month thereafter.

Most importantly you’ll be aligning yourself with a company created to make a difference in the world by not only giving corporately, but empowering you to give to a cause you believe in! I hope you can see My Power Mall is different. We often hear from our members that what brought them to this company is our heart, compassion and openness.

Commissions on 14 Tiers of Shopping from your team.
14 Tiers of Team Pay from other World Changer members on your Team.

Grocery & Gas Rebate Certificates that will pay you $300 each for a total of $600 in grocery & gas rebates a year! (certain criteria must be met).

Learn more about being a World Changer Mall Member by going to http://bigzgivesbig.com. Click on the box to the right of the page that says, "I want to make money quickly with a World Changer Mall!" and then view the short video presentation that loads on the next page (note that you may print out a written version of each choice for becoming a My Power Mall Business Owner under the video box).

We welcome you and celebrate your decision to pay yourself each and every time you shop starting today!

Computer Maintenance & "Shoulder to Shoulder"

Computer Maintenance and "Shoulder to Shoulder".

Computer IE Virtual Memory snafus continue . . . 3 hours of issues . . . finally, got FireFox to stay open long enough to check email and to reply to blogs. Not sure how to address the issue as yet, as I spent a few times throughout the day attempting its use again. For now, FireFox will have to be it until I find a remedy.

It warmed up and the snow is disappearing, thankfully. It was beautiful, but glad to have clear roads. It will freeze tonight, but, should be a *warmer* weekend, and with some sun, too, I hope.
Big Z is warming up in a chair after bath and food watching a few minutes of The Heffalumps. We just got to hear our favorite song that we think is called "Shoulder to Shoulder" that shares the joy of being new best friends. He's still a bit fatigued by this virus that had him earlier in the week, but he was still game for an afternoon romp with our friend's doggie. So we found the sun and a trail after we grabbed doggie and had great fun chasing bits of ice along the way. The trail was a new one for us and it was warming hiking up and over and by the time we got cooled again, the hike up and over rewarmed us.

Big Z also was a very helpful young man by shoveling snow off our deck as well as the deck and walkway of our friend.

Just now got to read and reply to a few blogs, and other than that, not much else happening for us. I'm realizing that we've not been as productive since the end of Boot Camp in terms of business actions that move us from point A to B. However, downtime has been good and nourishing, and the bits of training provided in the MPM Back Office also good.

Sandy W. is amidst her own personal 2ND Boot Camp . . . and we are proud of her efforts. Therefore, we will put our plan of action into place and get working on it, getting back into the rhythm of production.
As the questions go, "If not us, then who? If not now, when?"

"If it is to be, it is up to me."

*** UPDATE on COMPUTER ISSUE***

Increased the Page File from 1.5xRAM to 2xRAM and it seems to at least allow me to open IE without it freezing up . . . Aaaahh.

System Defrag for the last few hours . . . and delete some unused files . . . so, perhaps, fingers crossed, we've found a solution to increase RAM when that page file asks for it ;-).

What We Love About Working from Home

What We Love About Working from Home

Banking and bills tune-up today . . . Big Z feeling better and attended school with his Buds, which is great. Today is Yoga time, a good time for his body to "stretch {those virus bugs} out!".

Gave a call to Big Z's Dad to let him know about the new VISA Gift Cards. He's ready to get going on a personal mall to help Big Z.

This is one of our most important reasons we love working from home:

Though the weather threatened and dumped snow . . . took a drive to bring soup to an ailing friend and walk their doggie. It was a wet, wild and wonderful walk with snow-flakes coming down.

There are many times where we have been able to help out others in our community because we haven't been tied to a clock 8-5 (or should we say longer than those hours due to commute, childcare drop-off and pick-up time, etc). For me, next to having time flexibility to be with my son, this is one of the best aspects of having a business from home. If I had a job, I wouldn't be able to offer this kind of assistance to my friends in their times of need.

Picked up Big Z from school and gathered supplies at market using AMEX Gift Card. Wow, do I love using my Gift Cards knowing that we're paying ourselves a rebate at the same time as shopping locally!!!

;-)

Norton Anti-Virus is trying to tell me subscription isn't up to date, so, looked into that to solve the issue and found solution. IE is giving fits the last few days saying I'm out of Virtual Memory and freezes everything up.

Snow falling down heavily now, as we settle in for the night. The white stuff is pretty, but hope it doesn't hang around long. This girl is ready for Spring, though, admittedly, Big Z is quite happy with the snow since we missed most of it during our trip to California in December!

Limited emails and blog reads due to computer issues. Restart computer hoping issues will be resolved in morning.

Tim Sales and Unconfuse the Customer Technique

"Unconfuse The Customer Technique"

Big Z home from school today after coming home early yesterday with virus. Spent the day with him lazing around for the most part, cooking soup, napping and reading.

While working on the computer glitch in IE, attending to emails and cooking, I listened to Tim Sales. He had a training call recorded that lasted 2 hours on the topic of being an expert for your company by using the "Unconfuse The Customer Technique".

Power Shopping Tips from Ginny

Power Shopping Tips

(excerpted from My Power Mall Update, February 24, 2009)

POWER SHOPPING!

Are you a Power Shopper?? If you are not MAKING money on almost every penny you are spending, then you have not learned how to be a Power Shopper yet! That means you haven't yet learned how to make My Power Mall create as much income for you as possible!

Let me give you some tips and tricks:

1 - If you are buying a Gift Card valued at $500 or less, or you live in an area that doesn't accept American Express, it would be best to buy a VISA Gift Card.

2 - If you live in an area that accepts American Express, or you're going to buy more than $500 worth of cards a month, you'll want to purchase an American Express card.

3 - If you can, buy your Gift Cards with some kind of a Rewards Back Credit card so that you see even more benefit.

Let me share what I am doing to be a POWER SHOPPER. Each month I purchase at least $1500 in American Express Cards. Most merchants in my town accept them and I know I'll make more money this way. However, I also just purchased a $500 Visa Gift Card because there are a few of my favorite stores that do not accept American Express. Since I am committed to harnessing the power of every dollar I spend, I am going to carry both. I paid for both of them with my American Express card that gives me air miles for every purchase. I'm MAKING money and I'm earning FREE Airline tickets. That's what I call being a POWER SHOPPER!

In the last few days I have used my card to pay for a medical expense, personal printing, groceries, gasoline, 2 meals out, and supplies for my puppy. I ALSO double-dipped on my Mall and bought ink cartridges, puppy supplies I could wait a few days for (with free shipping), office supplies (free shipping), and a hotel room through Hotwire (that I saved $75 on!). Every time I made a purchase I saved money and made money TWICE - AFTER I had earned air miles for buying the card. POWER SHOPPING!

But you know what it really takes to be a POWER SHOPPER? Sharing your brilliance with others. Every time I go out I make sure I have a pocket full of Invitation cards. Almost everyone comments on the fact that I'm using a Gift Card (you can be sure they'll comment when you're using the beautiful MPM Visa Gift Cards!). I just smile, say, "I make money every time I use it! Would you like to know how?" They always nod. I hand them the Invitation Card and then get their name, email and phone # so I can follow up.

True POWER SHOPPING comes when I am making money off others' shopping! [and showing others how to make money off their own shopping, too!].

Doing Your Homework Helps Grow Your Business

Growing Your Business by Growing Yourself

This day brought with it completion of Dr. Bob's MPM 101 Webinar Series of seven short sessions. I'm so glad that I revisited this training because there are bits of info that Dr. Bob gave that I either missed the first time around, or, that he explained differently.

Knowing how to navigate your back office, and knowing what's in there, will help you as you're growing your business. And, it will help you help your team find what they need to be productive in their business.

Make it a practice to devote time to reviewing and updating your skills, both in and out of the back office, and in your life, with training, with motivational reading, with exercise and good nutrition, with meditation or visualizing your goals and dreams. All of these activities will help you stay fueled to keep going out there and Changing Lives, or as Boot Camper Aletha says, while being an "Ambassador for the Spirit of Change".

Next up, Jacki's World Changer Clinic . . . I bet I'll have A-ha Moments the second time around, too.

"You can't make money and excuses at the same time."
(Author Unknown)

One of the questions I was asked today on Live Chat was about another Boot Camp in the future. This World Changer I spoke with would like to apply to be a part of the next Boot Camp. YEAH, that's great news! And, it was exciting knowing other World Changers wish to take their businesses to the next level.

I was happy to inform her than another Boot Camp will be happening at some point, but for now to keep posted by reading the current Updates, and also to stay tuned to Jacki's Together We Can Change The World Radio Show. And I reminded her that any business builder in the company can listen to the recorded calls and read everyone's blog and follow what they did in Boot Camp #1 while they are awaiting the news of the next Boot Camp. Be proactive vs. waiting until the next camp to grow your business.

The TWCCTW Radio will begin again on March 2, 2009 at 10 AM Pacific and 5 PM Pacific for 4 days a week, alternating times, alternating days. Check here for updated information: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/twcctwradio. These calls will be open to anyone in the company and will cover training topics that will expand outwards from its initial use as Boot Camp Training Calls to open training.

Family Chat tomorrow night and will be happy to reconnect with the My Power Mall Family again after a week. Tune in at 6 PM Pacific at 212-461-5800 3497#.

First Best Step --- My Power Mall 101

What's the First Best Step to Take As a My Power Mall Member???

MPM 101

Today began EARLY --- 0300 for those on the 24 hour clock . . . Well, I tried to fall back asleep, but couldn't, so got up by 4 AM to get to the day, knowing I'd be on duty at 6 anyhow. While I was awaiting Live Chat Operator time at 0600, I began Dr. Bob's MPM 101 Training from the Back Office.

Throughout the day, I've gotten through most of the trainings. I'm in the middle of Session 5. There are some added tips in there that weren't talked about on the MPM 101 Training that Big Z and I took in the Fall. Also, the training will keep changing as more and more good stuff is being added. Thanks, Dr. Bob!

For anyone just getting started in their new home business with My Power Mall (http://www.bigzgivesbig.com), you will find it invaluable to install your MPM Tool Bar right away and then get to your How-To-Videos, the first of which is Dr. Bob's MPM 101 Training. It's fantastic at helping you navigate the Back Office and set yourself up for success right from the beginning. So make it your priority to spend the time required to become knowledgeable about what's available to you. Each session is as brief as possible to give you the required information to get you going quickly, while also being thorough enough to not cause you to feel like you've been in a train wreck.

Today I was able to spend some time checking out YouTube and also catching up on Boot Camper videos. That was FUN. Sandy, I have to say that your son flat-footin' was the cutest thing . . . Your dog made it all the more enjoyable. Thank you for the fun . . . We almost created our own channel, but, I have some considerations first.

Phillip, thank you for your kind and uplifting comments on your blog. We finally found you through the new links posted on the Boot Camper page.

Got out today for some groceries, a short walk and some sunshine. Been able to knock out more of the paper tiger tail by shredding more non-essentials. Can't remember if I said this, but Big Z also brought all his belongings to our living room like I did to sort out this week. He's almost finished, and so am I. His tasks seem easier since he has far less paper than I. How do we accumulate so much paper, I ask you? The good news is our rooms are feeling much lighter and more spacious ;-). Feng Shui-ing to the best of our abilities.

Blogs have slowed WAY down this week, but when they come in, it's sure good to read the progress of our now graduated Boot Campers . . . Thanks for posting everyone.

Big Z had a chess tournament today, his first. He did well. Out of 71 kids he placed 11th after missing the final round that could've taken him to 5th. Before he left, I made sure to let him know that even though he hoped to win them all . . . That every great athlete strikes out, misses the ball, the jump, or fails over and over and over for every success. That it's OK to lose a game, but to keep your eye and heart on the next win, taking all you learned and applying it the next go-round. He seemed to "get it" and he brought over his trophy to show me this evening. Pretty cool, I'd say. Gave him a big ol' hug and he just grinned ear-to-ear. He did a pretty good job of being balanced today, that is, with wins and losses; and it was an all-day event. Whew! I'd be a bit fried after that.

Something I learned today, for folks that are looking at My Power Mall who are in non-USA countries around the globe, there is a company called My Access USA that helps one to purchase American products and ships them overseas for you. Apparently, there are folks in Europe who say it's actually more cost effective to pay this shipping company and buy from the American portion of the Mall vs. buying the same products in their own country. I haven't checked yet, but the goal is to have My Access become a part of the Mall at some point so international members can have an additional rebate given for their shipments.

http://bigzgivesbig.com/

We're looking forward to the news about the VISA Gift Cards being launched this week. How about you???

Deepak Chopra Quote

Deepak Chopra Wisdom:

"Such a lot of time is wasted on waiting for the outcome when you could spend that energy on the process. It's just a slight shift in your attention from outcome to process.

"It means I am walking this road because I want to get there.

"But actually the real reason I am walking this road is because I enjoy walking this road. And as long as I am in the process, the outcome will be guaranteed.

Whispers of Hope ----Day 60

Day 60

Together We Can Change The World whispers Hope through My Power Mall Division by providing rebates for regular everyday spending . . . Hope that even in this economy, when people of like mind and heart work together for the common good of all, wealth will occur.

Stories are becoming commonplace in the world around me of job lay-offs, no money to pay the bills, foreclosures on homes, unemployment, food stamps and other temporary forms of assistance.

My sister was let go from her job at a small toy store where she worked less than full-time anyhow --- sales down. Her husband is unemployed currently due to a medical condition. Three kids. Bills mounting for months and home loss is likely by the end of this year unless their situation rapidly improves . . .

My neighbor is still home after being laid off 3 weeks ago. They are emigrants, still awaiting word from the Immigration Courts after being in the country for 5 years . . . His wife is still cleaning anywhere and everywhere she can find . . . a teen son and a young daughter to support.

A friend of mine that has been a contact since January has had his wife wrongly fired, they have their house in foreclosure, a young child with Muscular Dystrophy, and in our conversation this evening, I learn that he, too, was laid off just days after we last spoke.

These are just three scenarios that are quite disturbing, and yet it's happening all over the country.

My Power Mall and TWCCTW, Inc. offer hope to people like me and my son, to people like my sister, my neighbor, and my friend. Common, everyday people who are still quite capable of being more than their situation, may find a haven of hope with MPM because MPM pays you a rebate percentage for the shopping you do every single day anyway.

Do you buy toilet paper? Do you buy groceries? Do you buy gasoline? Do you buy clothing? Do you buy gifts for your kids' friends on their birthdays? Do you buy printer ink for your computer? Do you buy light bulbs for your home?

Yes?

Then get paid by shopping in your own My Power Mall. Start by finding 5 people who also shop like you do. Form a team, and your team will grow and grow.

J. Paul Getty says: "I'd rather have 1% of the effort of 100 men than 100% of my own effort."

Why would he say something like that?

Because of the power of leverage, the power of compound interest, the power of together we are stronger than one. The words of our Founder and CEO, Ginny Dye, reiterate that we are stronger together vs. individually, "Very few of us have the resources to make a big difference on our own. But our small efforts, combined with the small efforts of millions will create a tidal wave of goodness that will sweep the globe."

This is exactly why the MPM System was created. By working together, Big Z, you and I can reap the reward of 100, 1000, 2000, 3000 plus people who each do the work of 1, but because we are leveraging the work of ALL, we are helping those very people who are helping us, AND, making a difference at the same time!

In the online presentation, MPM states, "We have created a million dollar system that will give you the ability to MAKE money, and, more importantly, make a DIFFERENCE with almost every dollar you spend."
Make a difference? How?

By supporting the One-Child-At-A-Time Program with every purchase you make through your Mall --- 6% of Corporate Profits go toward supporting a child in need. When their needs are met, then another child is chosen.

Currently, the children who are receiving benefit through OCAATP are the SIFA Choir. To learn more, visit this page: Together We Can Change The World, Inc.

How else can I make a difference?

You will be helping those on your team by utilizing the power of your spending. And, you can help a charity of your choice by giving them a f'ree World Changer Mall of their own to share with their supporters, leveraging their return off of their everyday spending, and providing additional return to you.

"Harness[ing] the Power of Everyday Spending to Change The World," is what MPM is all about. This company is here soley to benefit the world, beginning with you and your family's needs first.

Here's another J. Paul Getty quote for fun as you consider having your own business from home. It is typically in this kind of economy that is the BEST time for you to begin your business from home . . .

"The #1 guideline to success is you must be in business for yourself. When you work for someone else, you sell your time at wholesale to your employer, who then re-sells it at retail to the customer."

I must also remember Paul Zane Pilzer from our former posts on January 17 and 18, 2009 . . . PZP states that there will be many new millionaires created in every economic downturn.

We're going to become two of those millionaires. Why don't we do it together? Here's how to get started:

Answer the whisper of Hope in your life today.

Earn Rebates with VISA Gift Cards --- Day 59

Day 59

Incredible news last evening on our My Power Mall Family Chat:

My Power Mall branded VISA Gift Cards are on their way, with increased rebates and accepted almost anywhere you can imagine shopping, whether online in your mall OR in your local community. The VISA Gift Cards could be available as early as next week.

This is powerful . . . It means we can get rebates on almost 100% of your purchases, and it means that you're likely to double, and sometimes triple, your rebates based upon your regular spending habits.

How would I double my rebates?

1) Purchase your VISA Gift Card and gain a rebate from your purchase.

2) Purchase on your Mall using your VISA Gift Card and get rebate #2.

How could I triple my rebates?

1) Purchase your VISA Gift Card and gain a rebate from your purchase.

2) Shop at Gift Certificates.com on your mall (or at any of the other stores on your mall that pay back a rebate on gift cards---see the tab across the top of your shopping mall that says "Stores paying on Gift Cards").

3) Shop at any store in your mall once your gift certificate arrives.

Why is VISA Gift Card important to us?

We have found most merchants accept American Express Gift Cards locally, however, not all do. Comcast, our energy company, our garbage company, our local co-operative grocer, and surely a few others, do not take our American Express Gift Card. These same merchants WILL take VISA, which means that we can be paying almost, if not all, of our purchases with a VISA Gift Card.

This means we earn a rebate back on all of our purchases throughout the month.

Learning to Pause --- Day 58

Day 58

As we move about our day after Big Z rejoined me this morning, we're both "shifting the energy!" Big Z saw what I had done and wanted to do the same in his room. And, so we are in the midst of it ;-). Whew. This is good work.

While I was moving dust bunnies out of a corner of our kitchen counter, out jumped this phrase, "Learning to Pause," and it reminded me of the "pause" we were faced with in December, the day we drove south to California, only later to learn, 2 hours into our trip, that all of Boot Camp was paused as well.

This message was cut off a box of Celestial Seasonings Tea, likely from "Tension Tamer Tea."

"Harmony is the inner cadence of contentment we feel when the melody of life is in tune. When somehow we're able to strike the right chord --- to balance the expectations of our families and our responsibilities in the world on the one hand with our inner needs for spiritual growth and personal expression on the other . . . Usually, when the distractions of daily life deplete our energy, the first thing we eliminate is the thing we need the most: quiet, reflective time. Time to dream, time to think, time to contemplate what's working and what's not, so that we can make changes for the better . . . . Learn how to pause."

----Sarah Ban Breathnach, from Simple Abundance: A Daybook of Comfort and Joy.

We may add to this post later, but for now . . . though we're busy, we are making room to allow time for "pausing" in our home . . . more comfortable time. Now, for lunch, then later, piano, a great walk in the outdoors, and then . . .

Monday Night Family Chat @ 6PM PST. YEAH!
212-461-5800 3497#

Will be looking forward to the call considering our Boot Camp is over, AND, our calls are on "pause" for 2 weeks. Join us tonight.

Sunday's Magic --- Day 57

Day 57

****The Sun Came Out****

A brisk walk around the lake yielded meeting up with a friend that I'd been thinking of calling regarding NPOs. He's in social work now; they've had lay-offs and cutting back of hours, including a 50% cut in their department's budget. We had a good visit, and though he's busy in the short-term, I plan to call him again to take a good look at what we're doing.

A stop in the grocery mart for supplies yielded a chance meeting with a parent of Big Z's former classmates from a few years ago. She's always been a bright light, smiles a lot and is present. We caught up about our kids, jobs, economy, Big Z's Enterprise, and life since we last talked. It was lovely to see her and we've committed to getting the boys together again soon. She took his website and will check it out after I mentioned AMEX Gift Cards and getting paid rebates on everything I purchase, including having $300 in grocery rebates over the year.

As I went to the check-out line, another of my friends was out for supplies, too, and it's one of the rare times she gets out by herself, except to jog on 50% of her days. I checked out and then came and joined her as she shopped, using coupons, finding deals, and deals, and deals.

This woman is a deal finder; however, she hasn't found the MPM deal yet. I've showed her, but she has hesitancy 'cause she feels she can't talk to people. But, she's a deal finder. EBay, Craigslist, Yard Sales, etc., she'll find deals.

To thank her for making Big Z's cake for many years in a row, I gave her a grocery rebate for $300. She's given a lot for us, and I thought it would be a nice way to thank her back. I asked her if she used it yet, as she shuffles her large envelope of coupons. She said, "No, I haven't. I mean, does it work?" I let her know, "I have mine all ready [for that particular store] come March 1. $100 bucks spent equals $25 gift certificate back to shop there MORE!" She wants to see if mine really work . . . But I told her that her certificate would expire if she didn't act soon ;-).

Couldn't resist checking in on blogs today . . . And 4 and 1/4 hours was spent on Live Chat, listening to the ding, ding, ding, dings of visitors jamming the system to learn more, watch presentations, learn about their business, update their information, etc. It was quite exciting to see the numbers rise and fall of how many people around the GLOBE were accessing My Power Mall. It gave me real perspective that we truly are a global company. That's pretty cool.

Since last evening been working on a project--- reorganizing and rearranging areas of the home that need help . . . since our last move, there are still boxes of necessaries that don't have a home due to the size of our abode. These items have been sleeping in my room, and I'd had enough.

I don't know if any of you have seen her site, or listening to her on the blog talk radio, but her purple self was very noticed by me: FlyLady. Whether it was her or just my stuff, something HAD to be done. So, out went everything in my room except for my bed and a bookcase, minus the closet. My bedroom houses office supplies, training tapes, self-improvement tapes, books, and more books, and all the extras of the home that need a place to be since there is no other place ;-). As items go back in . . . They have GOT to be necessary 'cause it just won't do otherwise.

If you have any areas of your own home that need some attention, feel free to get right on it. Spring is coming . . . and therefore, it's time to spring clean.

Valentine's Day 09 --- Day 56

Day 56

Happy Valentine's Day, Everybody!

So here is Big Z and the new sparkly bike on its first official trip to the USPS (posted pix on yesterday's as well). Cell phone camera, but it gives you the idea . . . Big Z is one happy camper --- what a perfect way to end Boot Camp with a new bike. That's definite reward for a job well done, even if it's been months and months in the making ;-). BTW, we did everything we could to convince the store to take AMEX Gift Card . . . As it happened, they just wouldn't bend. So for this purchase, well, it snuck by us and wasn't purchased on our mall and didn't receive a rebate. We win most of them, but sometimes . . . you just buy it anyway, knowing that eventually, we WILL be able to get a REBATE from every purchase. THAT, my friends, will be so cool!
I will add that the helmet Big Z has on is one he ordered from his Mall through Target.com. He used his own money to get a "full-face helmet". The helmet was backordered, and took months to get here. I think they must've had to manufacture it before they sent it. When it finally arrived, we almost accosted the UPS man and were terribly excited. It's one of Big Z's prized possessions.
Today has been filled with Live Chat, a bit of blogging, a bit of catching up with family and friends on this beautiful Valentine's Day, a bit of loving good time with Z, a bit of reorganizing, cleaning, de-cluttering . . .
Spring must be in the air 'cause it's time to shake things up and oust the OLD so we can bring in the NEW ;-).
Happy Saturday, everyone. Thanks for posting to our blog, always. And, thank you for your supportive encouragement, to me and to Big Z.
Stay tuned . . .
Oh, and we heard back from one of our local contacts. She and her family are still in the game, and it's been a pleasure getting to know them as the world turns 'round. It's great to follow-up with those people who genuinely like to keep in touch AND who have every intention of "getting around to it" legitimately ---- what I mean to say is when life just keeps throwing you curve balls and you can still keep your vision on a new result, you hang in there and keep developing your relationship with the person (s ) until the curve balls finally stop. ;-)
Enjoy.

The Finale of Boot Camp Completion --- Day 55 for Big Z Gives Big

Day 55

A lovely time on our training calls, time for reflection and sharing. Thank you, Ginny. Thank you, Jacki. Thank you, Gary, for recording all of those calls. Thank you, Susan, for posting all the info for so long in Boot Camp. Thank you to Maggie, for your comments this morning and evening in support of the Campers . . . Thanks to Maggie and Nita and team, for fielding the Q's as they came into Customer Service over all the changes implemented during the 1st ever World Changer Reality Boot Camp. Thank you, Campers! Thank you to the M-Team, you wonderful people who really know how to get things done in a hurry, and, how to ensure that everything out here in front is running as smoothly as possible. Thank you to Listeners, to Followers, to those out there growing your business and spreading the message of TWCCTW Power. Thank you to my son, Big Z. Thank you to anyone else I may have missed. THANK YOU!

On this, the last day of Boot Camp, one may wonder how it came to pass: My son got his new bike. He's been asking and waiting and waiting and asking for months . . .

Today he finally got a good bike, not necessarily the one he wanted or visualized. It was the compromise on price/features between his Dad and myself, and ultimately, Z's acceptance of the outcome. Good news, though, Daddy bended a little in his favor towards the end. And, it has gears and shocks, two features that Z just wouldn't bend on.

The beauty, well, we'll have to see if we can find you a pix. He manifested it, and we also thank his ever thoughtful great aunt, his Dad, and Big Z himself. Big Z pitched in $55 of his own cash.

Big Z has a photocopy of a bike above his pillow, and he also drew his own version of the bike he wanted. Now, he tells me he has another there as well.

One thing's for certain, children sure know how to ask, and ask, and ask some more, never really taking NO for an answer. They're really good at the art of "not now." Well, OK. At least Big Z is ;-).

Good night, All. We'll see you on the other side of Boot Camp . . .

Thursday and the 2nd to Last Boot Camp Day --- Day 54 for Us

Day 54

Believe it or not, besides the AM and PM training calls, Boot Camp Calls, or otherwise known as the new BlogTalk Radio calls, much of today has been devoted to running around like a chicken taking care of the details on the "project." Good news. The task that I needed help with was a cinch due to the kind young woman at the office store . . . She saved me a ton of time and she saved my friend some bucks ;-). Was in/out all day and we flew in the door, much as Tom did tonight, just in time for the evening call . . .

The blog front was pretty quiet the few times I checked today, and that's likely how I actually stuck to task on the project . . .

I did, however, get a full visit with our team member back East. I queried her regarding her parents knowledge of the area in Galveston for Aletha. And, we spoke more about what's been happening the last few weeks. At one point, she said she'd done a project with her little 2 year old and out of that asked the question: "Wow. Should be putting some energy towards MPM?" Those were fun words to hear ;-). Would love to get the ball rolling in her business so that she can begin to create a nest-egg to accommodate her goals for herself, her training (she's in the process of getting her Master's Degree), and for her family.

It was really wonderful to have Big Z join with Campers tonight on the call. You all made him feel like he was important by recognizing his desire to have his own business and his support of me. Thank you.

As for me, I really appreciate your kind and heart-felt words. It's funny how sometimes when we do just what is natural, we forget how meaningful it can be to another person or persons. As the call ended, I thought, "You have all strengthened me through this time. And, during this Boot Camp you've prepared me to go out and run my business. Thank you." Even though it's not always easy to receive, your appreciation of all the blogging and connecting I've done with you over the Boot Camp reiterates that we are exactly where we are meant to be, and that is, growing an TWCCTW/MPM business that touches lives in immeasurable ways, and perhaps most of all, our own --- for the connections we make are worth far more than the weight of gold; they are bonds that foster friendship that lasts a lifetime.

It's going to feel so strange to have 2 whole weeks go by without a.m. and p.m. calls. Thank God for Monday Night Family Chat ;-). We'll be packing those radio waves . . .

Looking forward to our last AM call . . . in just a few hours ;-). Sleep tight, Ya'll.

Wednesday --- Day 53

Day 53

I kind of took the day off today ;-).

I ended up doing the exact opposite of pushing through to the finish line in the last week of Boot Camp. I took a walk. I took a nap.

Even so, I still spent 5 hours in support of Boot Campers and/or being on our training calls. And, I worked on the project that I knew was coming this week for my friend. It's the same project we were working on early in the year, and now, its completion time is near. My hope is that the last of it, including a challenging part (I must learn something new to complete it), will be done by Friday so that this monkey is off my back, and, the slate will be clear as I head into the weekend.

As I studied one of my own dream boards, I found a quote I'd tucked in between a few pictures and I pulled it out. I attempted to find the author, but only found that it may have been used for a Nike add at some point. I don't remember where I got it, but I wanted to share it with you.

So, for now, it's from an anonymous author:

"If you want something you've never had, you'd better be willing to do something you've never done."

This quote summarizes for me the Boot Camp experience. Each and every person who signed up for this Fish Bowl Experience has had to do many, many things they've never done before; and each are the better and stronger for it. Because the Boot Campers were willing to step up into the spot-light, to commit to such challenging goals, and to take action in spite of fear, or to learn new things even if it wasn't something they were naturally gifted with, or to play with emerging technology, we, the Followers, have gotten to learn so much vicariously through their experience.

Thanks to each and every Boot Camper and to each and every Boot Camper Alternate who started the Boot Camp, and who succeeded in making it to whatever point you made it to in the Camp ~~~ Each of you crossed a finish line and held a determined commitment with your Selves. You've done an incredible job. And, each of you should be proud of your accomplishments.

I know I am. And Big Z is in his 9 year old way.

Have a wonderful night's rest, and wake up revitalized and ready to Rock n' Roll tomorrow, the next to last day of the 1st ever Official World Changer Reality Boot Camp!

Tuesday --- Day 51

Day 51

“If you do not hope, you will not find what is beyond your hopes.” - St. Clement of Alexandra

Happy Birthday to Ginny's MPM Mom, Beth T.!!!!!

Blog, blog, bloggin' . . . That's what happened for most of my business day today . . . That and attendance at our two live radio shows at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/twcctwradio. Bloggin' to support our Boot Camper Extraordinaires, that's what we do!!!!

The MPM Update was a good bit of information reiterating much that was in the MPM Family Chat last evening, and most of that info I spoke about in last evening's post.

A question I have for this day is this:

How does one who utilizes the tools of social networking keep up in a day?

We will be exploring this concept as we move forward in our days and weeks and months ahead. A daunting task it seems, however, bit by bit, it ought all be good as gold.

Enjoy.

Monday In The Last Official Boot Camp Week --- Day 50

Day 50

Today's bonus:

I used our American Express Gift Card that we purchased through Big Z's Foundation Mall to pay for our rental and auto insurance policies with Pemco. YEAH! It's wonderful to get paid for paying our bills!

Out of our training calls today are a few messages I'd like to share:

"All you can do is all you can do, but all you can do is enough." A.L. Williams

Australia and Europe have the greatest amount of money paid to them from their efforts of growing My Power Mall businesses. This was an incredible bit of information that Ginny shared as she spoke about the yoke of many Americans' paradigm when it comes to growing a business from home. Though I have not researched it, I would imagine that Europe and Australia have far less products that they can order and have shipped to their countries, and yet, they are the highest paid members. Incredibly curious how this is so . . . I'm determined to compete with them and increase the share of rebates folks in the US create! Join me on our mission to do this by going to http://www.bigzgivesbig.com/ and sign up as a World Changer. Start collecting your rebates today!

Boot Camper Jewel shared that she's gone back to working leads after having an unexpected relocation recently. She's the Queen of Lead Calling, and she let us know that she is finding that with every 17 calls she makes, she speaks to someone who is wanting to change their lives and wants to explore My Power Mall.

60 Day Flash Cash Contest Announced on the Family Chat Call tonight. For every World Changer sign-up or upgrade from BM to WCM, $5 will be given to their sponsor in the form of a check direct from the company. AND, the person who has the most WC sign-ups during the rest of February will be gifted a $200 American Express Gift Card. This is incredible incentive AND reward for leadership and for creating a solid foundation to grow a prosperous MPM Business or MPM NPO.

(Tune into Family Chats every Monday evening at 6 PM PST by dialing 212-461-5800 and entering 3497#.)

Add 10 World Changers to your Frontline and become part of the World Changer 10+ Club and receive the beautiful poster posted at the top of this blog posting. This poster was created by Kathie Zetterberg, Graphic Design Artist.

Happy Birthday to Beth T. 2/10!!!!

A hearty thanks to Andrea, Ginny, Jacki and Wanda for your appreciation of our support of you during Boot Camp on the calls today. And thank you to Vern and Tom, Aletha, Richard, Lisa, and All, who've given your appreciation via blog. It's been my absolute pleasure to be here with you. Having the added support from Tina from day one has been powerful for me, too, because then we weren't the Lone Rangers. And, though we may have been the ones that tickled the keyboards to post you most often, Joanne B and every single person that has tuned into the calls and the blogs have been so touched by your efforts, your struggles and successes, your stories, you tenacity and your incredible results and have been there cheering you, too. It is YOU ALL that have inspired US and given us ideas, tips, examples of courage and pressing on, even in challenging life moments, and, it is YOU who are showing us that success will come in this business when you work it consistently. You are fine teachers, and without you, and your determined fortitude, we would not have been able to look into the fish bowl to see Who My Power Mall is For.

My Power Mall is for Everyone who has a Heart and who taps into the Vision of "Together" We CAN Change The World, by first starting with our own lives, and then reaching out to the lives of our family, our neighbors, our community and to the world, and trusting that through this process, Hope is Kindled, and good is achieved, our needs are met, as the needs of others are met. My Power Mall is also for those who know that diligence, effort, dream nurturing, consistency, and action, coupled with utilization of the ever improving million dollar system we have been given, will be our only keys for success.

This isn't a get-rich program. Far too many people may have given a cursory glance to this business and found it wasn't for them because they couldn't create cash instantly, or many other reasons that support their belief systems. But for those that realize it takes 2-5 years to grow a successful business in any industry, and who keep their eyes on their goals of helping others while achieving their success, will find themselves handsomely rewarded., and not just monetarily.

It is YOU, the Boot Campers, who are providing the rich tapestry of experience that demonstrates how success is created in this business. Each and every person that ever takes the time to view your World Changer Reality Boot Camp histories from now forth will find the nuggets of what's required to achieve more in their lives, and in their own My Power Mall Business. Thank you, All!

Sunday --- Day 49

Day 49

The majority of my work day was spent as a Live Chat Operator for My Power Mall Customer Service. A long visit with Maggie sharing MPM stories was had while the lines were free. Then we both got a call within a moment of each other.

It was cool that this is the third weekend in a row that a person has sought assistance . . . They are new to computers, to the Internet, they don't have a computer of their own and utilize computers at a University, they don't have a phone and have financial hardships. In spite of these challenges, she saw something in the TWCCTW Infomercial that captivated her imagination (these aired in select cities in late November, early December). She saw that she could be a part of something powerful, that she could have something of her own, a business all her own that gave her hope, and, that would enable her to help others over time. She has gone from being somewhat discouraged/frustrated over her lack of skills to being much more confident this week. She is willing to keep after it, to keep trying, and to keep reading all the information that Ginny and the MPM Team have provided so that anyone may have success in this company. Yes, it may take her and anyone else in this position longer; it may require more effort, more initiative, more diligence, more commitment, but this woman has a vehicle in MPM that can help her reach her dreams. She is willing to do what it takes to achieve her own success. I am so glad to have met this woman and to have provided assistance and encouragement to her.

After our call was finished, I began studying the Power Bites and looking in the back office for the new letters and info for NPO's that the Boot Campers have been working with. I was glad to find 4 documents and there may be another that I missed. There is a lot of information, but it will be so well worth it to me and to Big Z and to our team as we move forward; and, it will help me continue to help those that seek assistance from MPM Customer Service.

Got to do a small bit of blogging today and got a short walk in. Big Z came home and so I made a great dinner while he's been filling out Valentine's cards for his schoolmates.

Today I re-read some of the $700 in 60 Days information and wrote down some figures to play around with . . . It's fun to play with them because it keeps my mind engaged on the numbers that Big Z and I would like to get to . . . Those numbers that will help us financially, which means that we can help others.

Tomorrow begins the last week for the Official Boot Campers, the Champions. As we began our own Boot Camp on December 3, 2008, we have a few more days to go . . . And, what's more, we've added another 30 days to our camp ;-).

Remember you can link through to their information through my followers; and you may also visit them at http://www.worldchangerrealitybootcamp.com/.

Enjoy.

Saturday -- Day 48

Day 48

Whew!!! I could feel it when the alarm went off this a.m. saying it was time to prepare for Live Chat --- I stayed up too late blogging.
;-)

Though Live Chat was uneventful, it got me to my desk and I was ready to be of service to anyone who needed it around the globe. This is a good feeling. I got to have a wonderful visit with another Operator who is one of the founding members who replaced me after the hour was up. It was good to have that time to say, "Hello!" and share some stories. Afterwards, I got to visit with the Director of Customer Service and as we are dog lovers, she sent a pix of her baby boy so that Big Z and I could feast our eyes on him. That was cool.

This day brought with it another small bike ride, this time to our friend who ordered her enzymes off Big Z's Foundation Mall last week. Her order came beautifully from the Mother Nature Store and she was pleased. As she was sorting through her receipts for tax time, and the sun was bursting through her windows, I couldn't resist helping her, making the project be a bit more fun. In exchange, she we shared a cup of tea.

"How do you order from Big Z's Foundation Mall?" you might ask. Simple. Just go to http://www.bigzgivesbig.com/ and decide if you would like to earn a rebate on your purchase. Since you're probably like most people and would like to have your own rebates back everytime you purchase something you then click on the World Changer Button on the right side of the page. A short video will explain how it works.

Then, click the link below the video that says, "Yes! I want a World Changer Mall!"

Once you have your mall you can shop and receive your very own rebates AND be helping fund the One-Child-At-A-Time Program!

For my friend, however, we just clicked the "Shop" button on the World Changer Video page banner and placed her order directly from there. For now, she likes the idea of supporting us and the children, and isn't concerned with her own rebates. This may or may not change, and we're just happy that she shopped with Big Z.

I got to see our neighbor and found out her husband is laid off, for a full week now. Oh, that's hard. This is the family from El Salvador. She also won't have work next week as people are cutting back. I gave her an encouraging hug, and took her hands in mine and said, "We really need to get your business going." Her husband came out afterwards and they were off. I do not know if he is supportive of the idea, but now that he is laid off . . . I just told her I would help them somehow, someway. I'll keep checking with them, especially when she asked, jokingly, if we could make room in our garage in case . . .

I had a brief call with our team member across the country before my good friend came over and asked me to dinner. Of course, I said, "YES!" Her boy was away with friends and Big Z was with his Dad, so, we used the time to talk business. I'm helping her with a project and we worked on it after our meal.

Afterwards, we caught up on the happenings with Big Z's business and she asked a few questions on how it works. PERFECT! I invited her to our computer and showed her how. She watched the World Changer presentation and then I showed her the mall, where she wanted to see how much airfare was to her vacation destination in a few weeks. She has great resistance to computers and technology, and therefore, is having a hard time deciding if this is for her. However, she really liked the professionalism of the presentation, and the idea of another revenue stream. She left with thoughts of ordering her plane fare through Big Z once she knew her plans. We'll see if we can get her a rebate, though.

It was another good day, and, a late evening . . . Bed time now, everybody. Sleep tight.

Friday --- Day 47

Day 47

This day brought with it rain after a few days of partial sunshine . . . Our AM blogtalk radio show was really good. The overall message was that "when you care more about the other person than the results, the results show up themselves" and "when what I want for other people is more important that what I want for myself, then I will succeed". We also had some additional information on how to speak with NPO's about our business model upon our first in person meeting. It was a good call.

I took a bike ride in spite of the rain and found lots of muddy trails . . . It was good to get some fresh air, and soon, spring will provide the platform to ride bikes to/from Big Z's school once more. That is fun, fun, fun. A perfect way to begin and end our days.

I attended a business meeting that lasted most of the day and found that it ended just as the evening call began.

After the call, I called a friend of mine who's been on my mind this week. We don't get to visit often, but when we do . . . Must've been good e.s.p. because she actually rang my Mom to get my number as she'd misplaced it. We had a terrific catch-up call and I will be inviting her to look at MPM. She asked if I would please send her the info. Indeed, I will send her one of the new marketing videos in a YouTube greeting card.

The rest of my evening was spent blogging to the amazing Boot Campers until late into the night.

It was a wonderful day.

The Breath of New Hope

From website http://www.poetseers.org/:

The Breath of New Hope

Day and night I shall swim
In the sweetness – hope – river.

May my mind every morning become
As beautiful as hope – dawn – rays

Peace begins
When expectation ends.

Each sacred hope
Is a blessingful gift
From Heaven’s heart.

Hope abides; therefore I abide.
Countless frustrations have not cowed me.
I am still alive, vibrant with life.
The black cloud will disappear,
The morning sun will appear once again In all its supernal glory.

Inspirational Stories Born Out of Life Experience --- Day 46

Day 46

The best part of today was the start of the day, tuning into our Together WE Can CHANGE The World radio show at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/twcctwradio . If anyone ever has a challenge or hurdle that they just can't seem to get over, there is a man named Philip of Midland/Odessa, TX that can help you shift your energy. Please take a moment to listen to the AM Call for 2/5/2009. It will be worth your time. Philip is a Boot Camper, an Alternate brought forth to the calls by a mysterious invitation. You won't find his blogs posted with the other campers, yet anyhow. He's been a joy to listen to on all the calls that he's been on since he called in on the moderator line one day and announced he was there. Thank you, Philip. Your story touched my heart, and one day, when Big Z can hear your message, I really would like him to listen to your words of wisdom, of overcoming life's obstacles in order to live, live, and live some more.

The show we tuned in with FireFox today, and we found we had no issues with the MPM Tool bar. The glitch only seems to occur with IE and we'll figure it out eventually. We must, for we are going to continue to explore these new modes of technology as we grow Big Z's Enterprise and his Foundations, and his TEAMs.

At school this a.m. I had a face-to-face meeting with one of our contacts. He smiled shyly and said he's gotten my messages, but just hasn't called back. Another friend of mine was meeting me to exchange goods, and so we didn't discuss a meeting time, but I'll catch up with him later.

The woman I met is a good friend and we got to visit last night after our blogging was done. We got to talk about some of the stories Boot Camp is providing in terms of NPO funding, and helping those in need. I asked her, based upon her position in our community, where she would most place her energies if she could help more. She has three key areas that are the most glaring to her. It was good to talk of my friend in CA that I walked the Relay 4 Life with, and how wonderful it was to finally meet up on the same page of helping a charity. Now, she's on the Booster Club of my old high school, and ready to present to them! (No, we've not gotten back in touch with each other yet to find out what really happened that night). Though my friend in town knew what Big Z and I were up to, it felt like she heard me in a new way last evening. A new seed planted.

I met with my friend who's just come back into town after spending almost 6 months in CA with her boy at a special performing arts school. She opened a gallery and attended a well respected flower arranging school while the was there. We've been in communication about Big Z's Biz, and her son gets an SBIY subscription from us, but since she's not too adept with computers, she has hesitancy in learning more. She is, however, supportive of us. Now that they are back in town, we'll have to gently teach them a bit about how simple it could be to pay themselves for the shopping they do everyday anyway. This is the friend who, now that she's back in town, I will help tie up the project I was helping her with earlier this month. Our next week will be devoted to getting that project wrapped up before she heads to Sweden for a short trip.

Our friend who was in town recently on business sent a little care package that arrived today. I was touched by her thoughtfulness and called her to thank her. She has a very generous nature, has been a volunteer firefighter for years, and I met her on that Relay 4 Life walk all those years ago with my friend I mentioned above. She's a Federal Mine Safety Inspector as well. She mentioned caring for a friend of hers that just had surgery a few days ago for carpel tunnel. Her friend's employer is giving huge cuts to their workforce, as many huge companies are doing these days, and she lamented the economy and fear of losing her job. I will soon be sharing MPM with my friend so she can offer it to her friend.

The interim of the day was spent catching up on blogs and responding, checking email and replying and doing the necessary activities that keep a household moving along. Again, it feels like another day progressing . . . however . . . Am I doing what will really move us forward?

Well, as I watch our actions throughout the day, we are definitely busy, and we're still overcoming resistance to the new routines we've set in place as Boot Camp began. Change . . . for the good, mind you, but change none-the-less, has come to our house ;-).

As I saw last evening, Big Z is aching for "connection time" even as I am connecting with all of you. As I see that I am not making new calls daily to the many leads I have stacked up . . . I am observant. I attempted to move forth from this place a few weeks ago. What I am witnessing in myself is this knowledge of how good it would be for me to do this, yet I have been unable to reduce my time of keeping touch with the Boot Campers and continuing our journey together, feeling the pull to keep our vigilant support strong as the last days of Boot Camp are drawing to a close. For whatever reason, I am Your Supporter and I feel my energies are well-placed. I'm conscientious of the fact that I am not growing Big Z's Foundations quickly, but, funny how the feeling I have still is one of trust and acceptance, and knowing that all good circles back to us in due time.

It's been good to have the reminders and conversations about our commitments to Self during this last week, for that is what it boils down to. I am somewhat disappointed that my hopes in late November to January 24 haven't come to fruition in the way that I'd planned considering our financial situation. I'd like our steady flow of income now. However, it isn't now. It is soon. Soon as we begin taking our daily actions and daily follow-ups like the Boot Campers.

So, what's the plan?

The plan is to continue on as we are doing, supporting YOU Boot Campers in YOUR last week. All the while, continuing to do as best as we can to implement strategies that prepare us for our growth of Big Z's team. It's rewarding as heck to be Supporting YOU, and listening intently and learning on both training calls each day. Upon completion of Boot Camp, we will gain an hour in the evening that is already outlined for calling time. We're getting fairly good at having dinner before the call. This can help us maximize our evening. We've got our scripts mostly fine-tuned and this weekend I hope to finalize them (perhaps some of the new scripts for machines, etc. will be in the back office this weekend, too). We have marketing videos, so, deciding the best (and safest) way to go about promoting those is on our list . . . We have a fellow's info on doing this that I would like to gloss as we get those social networking sites up and running. I'll post you on who it is if I like what he's got to say. And, alas, I already know that I'll need to place "gentle limits" on my time of blogging and emailing --- for as they say--- we must do the most important tasks FIRST and then do the other tasks AFTER. However, please know that we will be reading your blogs and replying as we are able to, and, we will continue to be YOUR best Supporters ;-).

My hope is that as the Boot Camp is ending, we'll have gotten our engines warmed and ready, and my project will hopefully be complete, and we can bolt out the gate with effective actions ;-). We, too, have learned so much from the Boot Campers and their experiences. We will delight in having the AM radio shows still available to us for our motivation and our support line. Monday Night Family Chats are a bonus . . . just like Miracle Team Training Calls used to be on TH evenings. And, we have our training to incorporate into our schedule, too . . . That's the training I mentioned in our post over the weekend about "Taking Initiative" (Jan 31 post).

Are we good? You'd better dang bet your bottom dollar we're good. We're better than good, as our dear friend and fellow Boot Camper, Philip, has reminded us today. And as the old song goes, "Happy Trails to YOU, until we meet again . . ."

Wednesday Mid-Week --- Day 45

Day 45

Today I had a great conversation with a Dear Friend of Mine who is a hospice nurse. She's an incredible person with an incredible heart and desire to help people. We've spoken in the past about the how they have a hospice foundation to help people when there isn't enough money for clients to receive care, however, many of our conversations have turned to politics, time, money, speedy solutions vs. the best patient care possible. It's an excruciating situation to be in, and one that she would like to effect in the best possible ways, for her fellow nurses, for her bosses, for the establishment, but most of all for the clients served and yet to be served in their final days of life, and for their families.

This friend of mine has a dying friend, who, if she had the money, there may be hope if she could just get a liver transplant . . . However, she doesn't have the money for a liver transplant and has been ill for quite some time . . . I told her about Boot Camper Andrea and Boot Camper Wanda because they are helping those they care for and those in need by creating a source of funding for their medical bills and for sustenance while in convalescence and during and after the loss of a loved one.

We talked about other ways to have an alliance with NPO's and My Power Mall and each other. For now, she's too busy to become involved in any way, however, once her mind gets turning on a potential, it will eventually work itself into a yes or a no, but all along the way, she's loving and supportive of anything Big Z and I choose in life.

Alas, we report that we did have trouble tuning into the blogtalk radio . . . And, we un-installed our MPM Toolbar. It played. However, at the end of the call, we found that another error inserted itself and froze the whole computer. Eeek. So, there it sat frozen until I dropped Big Z at school and made my way back here to shut it town improperly and reboot ;-). I'd already mailed the info off to Nita, so I updated it and sent her our second version . . . Try, try again tomorrow. It would be lovely to see what the issue really is . . .

I called a grocery store in town that we frequent to see if they take AMEX and they do, and they thought they would take the gift cards as well. Good news! We also redeemed our grocery certificate and chose our market. March is the first month we can use our vouchers to receive $25 back for every $100/month in purchases over the year. YEAH. I'm still so excited over this ;-).

Today we were able to catch up with our blog reads and comments, always an enjoyable part of our day, for sure. And, we caught the boot camp training call, hearing more from Tom on his work with NPOs for an added re-cap from yesterday morning's radio show.

Today we got to play after school with friends unexpectedly. It's gotten a bit warmer and so when we were invited to a park to play with doggie and three kids and Mom, we jumped at the chance. It was great fun, and it sure DOES shift the energy. The oldest friend is Big Z's age and they've known each other since they were babies; younger brothers are just now 6, and 3. Wow, does time fly.

As we've been working tonight, Big Z is continuing his read-a-thon reading. And, we just spent a bit of time shifting more energy by "moving the energy" of crankiness by having fun, joking and rushing to our rocking chair for a "no more cranky song." Believe it or not, it's just what the doctor ordered, and, it turned into a very cozy bit of time. I'm sure some of you are feeling the effects of your attentions diverted while pushing forth as Boot Campers with those we love, even when they ARE on our team. Big Z, though happy I'm home and working on his business, would still rather I spend almost every single minute with him. Balance and focus . . . Moving forward to gain our immediate goals while still having quality time . . . It's a dance and we'll continue to work towards a happy balance between growing business time and growing ourselves time.

Today wound up being another day like yesterday in some instances, moving forward but still not quite doing what we must to achieve results . . .

The Little Support Tasks Kind of Day --- Day 44

Day 44

Our day first began with a call to Big Z's Great Grandfather for birthday celebration--- he's 88 today ;-).

We tuned into the AM radio broadcast and found all systems to be working fine without the Live Toolbar. Later in the day, we reinstalled the MPM Toolbar and we'll test it tomorrow to ensure all is functioning fine.

Called my Grandmother, on my Dad's side. We've only ever spent time together once, on a road trip when I was a little older than Big Z. My brother has lived near her now for a lot of years. We've recently shared a few emails and yesterday was a time to visit. We got to talk for about an hour, and it was good to connect to her, my Dad's Mom. She's 83 and her mom is still alive at 98. WOW.

While installing the IE MPM Toolbar, I also installed the FireFox version. A new MPM Toolbar is in the works for IE 8, for those of you who have the current version ;-).

I rounded up a friend who has a digital camera so she could take a photo of me for Live Chat. We finally connected and we now have on our want list a camera !!! How much easier to be able to take the pix yourself, and download it direct to your machine?

MPM Video with Lost Marble was able to get the videos to me today and they came through without a hitch. Big Z hasn't seen them yet with his info at the end, but when he does, he's going to have his chest puffed out . . . He's really happy to have his own business.

I printed off 3 Certificates for a fundraiser at Big Z's school. A Valentine's Basket raffle is happening. We chose the $300 grocery rebates, the $300 gas rebates and the 3 Days 2 Nights Hotel.

Happily, I redeemed my Grocery Rebate Certificate and have my vouchers to begin to collect $25/month for a year ;-). Makes this Mama very happy, indeed.

While looking in the phone book for a number on another project, I came across the name of an old neighbor who has an investment services business. His name was so bold and big that I've put him on our list to call about Big Z's endeavors . . .

I made a f/u call to a contact that I've been leaving messages for and missing. A return call came in at the same time I was leaving a VM, and it wound up being her boyfriend. He's a trucker, so we got to talk about the route he takes up in my town, and catch up on the reason he called my number back: They have a friend with my name. So, left a message with him as well and will call again on the weekend.

I spent time creating a bio and getting that pix to Nita at customer service.

I also wrote up the notes for Gary regarding the blogtalk issues that Aletha and I have been having at the request of Nita. In this way, he can help others who may have the same issues.

I went back to blogtalk radio to download today's show, and was able to listen to the show from the website with no troubles from MPM Toolbar. Since I was there, I took some notes on the conversation that Ginny and Tom had about the NPO's that Tom is working with and the process he's creating to reach them and add them to his pipeline.

The day felt more like a laundry list of necessary tasks, but it didn't really feel like we moved forward at all. I kept thinking of how many times over the years little projects with the computer have seemed to take hours and hours (I'm no techie with these devices, but am willing to self-service if I can). Updates, patches, firewalls, anti-virus, messengers, email, and now . . .

blogs, YouTube, Live Chat, Facebook, blogtalk radio . . . Whew! How many are like me and wish we had a technician could keep our computer systems running with ease, and, train us on all these new programs!!! My friend who took my photo asked, "Do you have a Photo Bucket account?" Photo Bucket? Sounds familiar. I created the account and found I really didn't understand how to navigate in it ;-). Ah, well. We'll just take it a step at a time. Bite-by-bite.

Monday's Move Forward-- Day 43

Day 43

Welcome to back to our blog and our story moving forward in Big Z's Enterprise. We hope you are having a great day!

We found success tuning into the TWCCTW Radio Show on Blog Talk Radio by using our FireFox Browser. YEAH. Tune in each day at 8 a.m. P.S.T. at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/twcctwradio and you can listen to our inaugural Boot Camp Training calls. These calls are the practice ground for a soon to be company-wide training and marketing tool.

First, however, we checked our email quickly.
Then, we un-installed our Google My Power Mall Toolbar just because we heard it can interfere with programs, and in particular, our error of a Visual Basic C ++ issue we were having trying to tune into the blog radio. Alas, no success with IE after removing the tool bar. The program shut down anyhow, and really, we've had IE issues a lot today--- slow, lagging, freezing.

FireFox was a breath of fresh air!!! It did ask us to update our Flash player before the radio show worked, but this was a painless and quick process. Even though we got it to work, we listened in via phone as it's easier for us while we're moving around and getting Big Z ready for his day of school.

We un-installed the Windows Live Toolbar, a bar that came with the new Windows Messenger program that we just installed a few weeks ago for being able to keep in touch with our My Power Mall Customer Service Live Chat Team (in fact, many in corporate keep in touch with this little tool). I thought that perhaps it may have interfered as well. We'll know tomorrow ;-).

We've been working with Lost Marble on our marketing videos. One came through and I downloaded it twice. However, I've got another glitch somewhere, so they are going to download both videos tomorrow in different formats.

We viewed blogs today and were able to catch up on some. One exciting YouTube video was of Sandy W. as she spoke about her new World Changer Team Member getting their business up and running. That is very exciting to us because we know they are embarking on a very wonderful journey of self-discovery which will lead them toward financial well-being and success.

Our friend who wanted to make an order last week became ill and didn't get to join us on Friday. She came over today now that she is feeling better. I let her know she could make the purchase in the comfort of her own home and sent her explicit instructions on how to do this, on the off chance she'd change her mind and get a personal mall for herself. She is bent on helping Big Z vs. gaining her own rebates right now. So, she came to order from his Foundation Mall, http://www.bigzgivesbig.com/. She thought the store she'd ordered from was Vita-Cost. When we got there, it didn't look familiar and surprisingly, they didn't have the enzymes she was after.

We used the search feature and typed the brand name into the box. In an instant, Mother Nature store popped up showing the item she wanted for the same rebate as Vita-Cost at 8.4% and FREE shipping ;-). She was happy to visit me and happy to make her order for a good price.

Next we're going to look for a large falafel mix --- much larger than the 1 lb. we found on a quick search. Her sister is soon to host a large gathering and she is preparing the delicious meal.

Boot Camper Aletha called me and we celebrated the return of her voice and returning health for a few minutes before I went to get Big Z for his piano lessons. YEAH, Aletha! Welcome back!

Upon our arrival home, we made a fast and healthy dinner and got right back to a quick email check and exchanges to Lost Marble. We also got the MPM Update from Ginny with more great news, including info from Jacki on the new blog talk radio info.

By then it was already Boot Camp Training call time, so we hopped on the call to celebrate our Campers!!! YEAH. We're so proud of all of you as you slog through illnesses and so many other challenges. You continually inspire us!!! Thank you very, very much!

Family Chat night was on next, so, we listened to a great call from Ginny Dye encouraging all to stick it out and take quitting out of our equation; and instead seek answers, resolutions and solutions when we meet up with our challenges. Thanks, Ginny!

When the calls were done, we did a follow-up email to our friend at our credit union. She and her family were facing a move after a treacherous winter. The good news is her boy is celebrating his first birthday and they had hopes to get to Arizona where it's warmer for a few days.

We also made a follow-up e-card sending an e-book for the couple from Seattle that are relocating to the mid-west as a thank you for looking at MPM. In the note we included points to consider in case they missed some information in the online videos, especially since we haven't gotten to talk about which ones they saw. They may like to earn their own personal rebates with a personal mall. In addition, they have supportive and giving hearts, and they may also like to know that every purchase they make would be supporting BigZGivesBig.com AND the One-Child-At-A-Time Program where Together We Can Change The World, Inc. shares 6% of Corporate profits to a child in need around the globe. Lastly, we let them know what a pleasure it was to meet them, and we hope to stay in touch, while wishing them ease in their relocation and in seeking employment.

Big Z is in a read-a-thon for his school right now. So, Big Z spent time reading for his school. His choice is Harry Potter for starters. He'll be reading at school and in his spare time all week. Piano was very good today. He and his new teacher are beginning to gel, and he was quite surprised that his class was over in a blink of an eye. They created an improvisational song today for a black stallion . . . The horse wasn't really a black stallion, but is a black and aged Tennessee Walker that we no longer get to spend time with (he was a former landlord's horse). Well, needless to say, I thought of Sonny and my son's desire to create a song for him. I welled up in tears over the tenderness and beauty of their song turned tribute, and of my son's delight and appreciation for this old horse, cranky in his old age due to mares always pushing him around. Perhaps one day soon we'll see him again, along with a few of our other horse friends. Hopefully, Old Sonny Horse heard the music being played for him today from afar, traveling on the waves unseen from Big Z's hear to his.
