Shopping Tidbits from the MPM Shopping Alerts --- Day 41

Day 41

Shopping Testimonial

I needed to buy copy paper for our traditional pest control business in Ohio. I hate going to the store alone to buy this as I purchase by the case and it is heavy to get in and out. So I decided to try my mall.

I found Office Depot which we no longer have in our area. I ordered several things I needed (great price on a new ink cartridge) and found I was eligible for FREE delivery since I spent more than $50.00.

Then I Googled for coupons and found one for $20.00 off my purchase. (Please re-read this creative way to save even more on your purchases through your mall --- Note: please also re-read the magnifying glass icon information under the store you want to purchase from to ensure they will count both your MPM shopping rebate and the added use of a coupon. Some stores do; some don't. It's up to you to read the fine print for each store.) I was allowed to use that also and as long as my purchase was still at least $50.00, the FREE shipping still applied. My supplies arrived Monday morning.

I am very happy!!! Thanks so much for all the great finds every one makes.

My wife, Nancy, just received Earth Shoes from ShoeBuy.com on her Mall yesterday. She ordered tennis shoes and sandals. These special shoes have "negative heel" technology for folks like her who have severe pain in the front part of their feet and toes. These shoes transfer the weight of each step to the heel, taking the pressure off themost painful part of the foot. She is ecstatic over how great her feet feel. She can nowgo walking in comfort. Free Shipping and free returns, too.

I just received two cordless phone batteries from ebatts .com, too. They are so much cheaper than you can get anywhere else. They have superb customer service and free shipping, plus a 10% discount code you can use. By the way, the batteries I received were configured a little differently than the originals, but they work perfectly. I can just bet that by how this company does business, they'll last a lot longer than the old ones. There is also a 30-day money-back guarantee.

These are just a few of the many things we've bought through My Power Mall. It's just amazing how many great stores and great deals we have on our Malls.

From a BootCamper:
I really did buy TP today ONLINE! It was pretty cool because as those of you with kids will attest to, the grocery store can become a nightmare when shopping with the kiddos! I got the shopping alert today and there were comparisons for several of the stores on the mall. I used to live in Michigan, so when I saw that Meijer was on there and their rebate is higher than Wal-Mart, I couldn't say no!

Yesterday my wife's outdoor pond pump quit for good. We discussed whether we could find it in her Power Mall or not. She thought we could, but I was a tad more skeptical. I said, "What the heck, it couldn't hurt to try." Well, in two seconds, our Mall search took us to our favorite offline pet store: Petsmart. And wouldn't you know it: same pump, great price, FREE SHIPPING! We are learning real quick that you can find darn-near ANYTHING in your Mall and it even makes you money! It truly doesn't get any better.

I was shopping on a new site for a router for a computer client and found a good deal on a site called JustDeals.com. Not only did I find a really good deal on the router I was looking for (about 1/3 the store price), but I also found that this site does a flat shipping rate of $1.95!

I'm so delighted with MPM in so many ways but I had a real eye opener last week. I ordered from a MPM vendor, a funeral spray for a memorial services I was attending.

When I arrived at the service, I noticed one particular arrangement stood out from the others. I went forward and was surprised to learn that magnificent piece was from me. I had paid only $89. When I returned home, I priced similar arrangements at a local florist and they were $119 and up. In addition to the generous rebate, I received real value for my dollar. Everything I have ordered from a MPM vendor has been first class and shipped promptly.

Shopping Tip

Keep a shopping list at your computer (or wherever you are) to check or write down what you need as things start to get low (but before you need them). Then once or twice a week, get on your Mall and make your purchases. While you're doing that, you can know that as long as you have an American Express Gift Card you can also make money every time you go shopping locally!

Shopping Tip

Never sign up for auto-ship programs. Your original purchase will be tracked, but subsequent purchases will be lost to you because they will have been generated by the store, not by you in your mall. Just put a reminder in your computer's calendar (or your SHOPPING LIST in your back office) to remind you when to order each month.

"But," you might ask, "How do I shop and earn rebates on my purchases?"

First you need to become a World Changer Member by going to http://www.bigzgivesbig.com/.

1. Watch the online presentation -- it's short, but informative.
2. Sign up for a World Changer below the video screen.
3. Print out your order confirmation as it has important information you'll want to refer back to.
4. After you receive your Welcome Letter in your email box, you can SHOP for almost anything on the planet through your personal mall!!!
5. Then, you may submit your own testimonials and tips on your own shopping experience ;-).

Happy shopping !

A friend sent this to us today. It's especially cute because of the wonderful bonds that can happen between any animal and human. And, it's got extra significance because I now have a commercial driver's license after driving big rigs for a few months.

As my Uncle Marks says: It's pretty Ducky!

Initiative--- A Key Ingredient In Growing Your Business

Why Initiative?

Initiative because that's what it takes sometimes . . .

My day began at 0515 to rally my senses from dream time to awareness for my post with the Live Chat Customer Support Line. It was a quiet morning from 0600-0700 P.S.T. so I used the time to visit with a fellow Customer Chat Representative Sweden. That was great fun to talk on IM all the way around the globe ;-). As was the added hour that I spent training and getting to know our Director of Customer Service, Nita.

I took initiative to be prepared in case there was someone who needed our assistance. If I didn't, some person or persons would have been disappointed they didn't get help when they needed it.

What our position will help us gain is freedom--- information that gains freedom but only through our initiative to do it.

Here's what we are doing to take initiative -- and what every single member of our company could benefit from -- as a key ingredient to growing our business:

1) Sign up for the 24/7 MPM 101 in your back office with Dr. Bob.

Go over it again even if you took live training with him in the past. Nita mentioned that he's added new information. This is good to do every once in awhile.

2) Sign up for Jacki's World Changer Clinic.

We've taken the clinic already, but we're going to take it again. It will keep us fresh.

3) Study the FAQ's on our toolbar.

Did you know that you CAN study some of these bits of info without logging into your back office?

We're going over our Toolbar FAQ, our Mall FAQ, our Biz Site FAQ and our Sales FAQ.

Why?

Because things are always changing, and we'll get caught up on the latest and greatest that will assist us in growing our team, and in training our teams.

4) We're going back through all of our Power Bite Trainings. They are packed with "bite-sized" tips and tricks for gaining the maximum from your back office and for growing your business.

The link for Power Bites on your Tool Bar has a handy feature -- they've separated each category of Power Bites so that you may read all about "Motivation" or "Business Building" or "Company Information."

5) We're also going to spend some time glossing some old Updates.

And, did you know that you can access these by using that sweet little Tool Bar that you can download from your back office from Google? Yes. It's there, customized for your optimum performance ;-).

Here's one thing I learned today:

The tool bar may now be added to FireFox browser. When it was first released, we only had it for IE. Yippee!

But what does it take as a key ingredient to your success?

It takes Your Initiative to take advantage of the trainings, the power bites, the tips and tricks, the how-to videos, and the updates that are in place for your success. If we don't take initiative, then we will be hard-pressed to when it comes to growing our businesses and our teams. We can't expect someone else to grow our teams for us.

The information we have at our disposal to answer our own questions are improving all the time. Because so much information is here, it should be much easier for you to have success.

If you find your question isn't answered, then sent it to customer service because your query may valuable for another -- it can be added to improving the FAQ's and trainings that are already in place.

What are you going to take initiative on today that will move you forward in your business?

Enjoy your initiative. Enjoy your training. Enjoy your learning. Enjoy your progress. Enjoy your success. Enjoy your rewards.

And, thank you for taking initiative to read our blog ;-).

Friday's Happenings --- Day 40

Day 40

Welcome to the New Together We Can Change The World Radio Show, Broadcast Day 2 from the World Changer Reality Boot Camp with host, Jacki Varacalli:

http://www.blogtalkradio.com/twcctwradio. When you go there to listen to or download any podcast, please do return to http://www.bigzgivesbig.com/ to sign up as a World Changer. In this way, you'll come to us vs. the corporate site. We thank you in advance.

Sweet as it is to have the new technology to broadcast around the globe via Internet Radio, my Internet Explorer just didn't seem to like it. Today I wasn't able to listen via Internet due to the same issues as yesterday. I did find a tidbit that said the Google Toolbar, which I have, may be what is interfering in my particular situation. We tried to research the issue, but ran out of time before needing to head for Big Z's school. We'll have to keep seeking solutions to work out the kinks (another idea Aletha, I'm noting that my Live Chat software is trying to load even when I'm logged out . . . do you think THIS could be our issue?).

American Express Gift Card Success Stories, continued:

I purchased my first tank of gas using my American Express Gift Card. No fees. No hassle. Simple as could be ;-). I was celebrating big time, 'cause, had it NOT worked there by paying directly with the cashier, well, let's just say that my hugs wouldn't have been enough to pay for the gas, kind as I'd have been to the gentleman who is always smiling when I pay him for our fuel.

I also was able to update my directory listing as a Reconnective Healing Practitioner with The Reconnection Office. ;-). This makes me happy, too, because their online shopping cart wasn't set up to take American Express. However, calling their office directly was the solution ;-).

I also got to buy a few basics at Trader Joe's using my American Express Gift Card.

Previously, we've used our American Express Gift Card at Walgreens, Cost Cutter (grocery store), VerizonWirelessOnline, Schuck's Auto Supply, and Together We Can Change The World.

Alas, Comcast doesn't have a system that accepts AMEX, nor does our local co-op. In addition, to use our gift card to pay our electric bill, we'd be charged a fee that just seems too large to do ourselves justice . . .

But to make up for these small details we RECEIVED our GROCERY REBATE FORM in the mail today!!!! YEAH! You can BET we'll be picking the store that carries our favorites AND takes American Express Gift Cards ;-). You're darn tootin' we will. Happy as little larks we'll be shopping for our groceries AND getting paid by returns from purchasing our American Express Gift Card AND for shopping in our community by receiving $25 Each and Every Month for buying what we need to buy anyway.

Happy are WE who are World Changers . . . Say, you wanna join us?

http://www.bigzgivesbig.com/ shows you how to become a World Changer today. Claim your stake at $600 in rebates for groceries and your gasoline right from the start ;-).

We also got to use our American Express Gift Card to purchase through PayPal by inputting this Gift Card into our PayPal account (we already had a verified account created). It was a snap to go to Lost Marble and order our bundled set of marketing videos. ;-). THIS is GREAT.

Progress for the Day:

* f/u call with a friend to see if tomorrow evening may be the night to catch her up on the company so she can decide if it's a fit for her and her family--- VM with info.

*f/u call with a lead I've been talking with. Last few calls we've missed. Now that we're near the weekend, we hope to connect. VM. Will try again this weekend to catch her to hear her thoughts on the presentations. She's viewed them, I believe.

*f/u call to a local contact. Haven't spoken since before Christmas due to our trip south, snow, and new year hub-bub about biz, though we have gotten to wave and smile at each other a few times. VM.

*f/u with my neighbor that thought she would be home today from work -- she wasn't home after all, and therefore, we didn't get her signed up as previously hoped. Left VM. Perhaps we can connect over the weekend.

*Call to a long-time friend to catch up with him after a long, long while. Had a great 30 minute call with him and he sounded great. This last year he was diagnosed with a degenerative disease that's been pretty challenging, and yet its been a growth-filled time for him. We did get to let him know what we're up to, including Big Z's 9th b-day and Big Z's business.

*Email to my sister asking if she can help with networking sites. She has a Facebook account, I know ;-).

Tonight on the Boot Camp Training Call, World Changer Boot Campers Gaylord and Sandy were the only ones in attendance . . . Must be a Friday night ;-).

Therefore, Sandy got special TLC treatment with Ginny. They worked on refining scripts and it was great, great info. Gaylord has had dental surgeries this week had been snoozing all afternoon, his body needing to recuperate. So, we think he got off the phone . . . We missed everyone else. And, the call ended all too soon at half-past the hour, Ginny off to create a script for working with local businesses, and Sandy to create a script to run by Ginny.

Ginny also reiterated listening to Boot Camper Tom F.'s info on his research of non-profit organizations because it gave her ideas for creating proposals to the NPO's after initial connections have been made with them.

The day was good. I called my brother to see what he thought of the info. He wasn't home so I left a VM. I spoke with my sister, mentioned above, and we spoke about my request for help with social networking sites . . . ;-) And, now, I'm on with my brother. A major life crisis call that requires my full attention. My son is with his Dad . . . Good night all. This is important.

Thump, Thump, Thump It's Thursday --- Day 39

Day 39

The day began with the new Together We Can Change The World Radio Show blasting off from Blog Talk Radio . . . Pulled up the page and dialed in . . . then, then, alas, the IE decided it wasn't going to listen. Tried again. Crash. Again. Crash. The whole call was spent attempting to fix the problem. In the process, we have downloaded a new version of QuickTime. Afterwards we learned it wasn't QuickTime that was needed, but there was something about Visual Basic C++ that was causing issues . . . Anyhow. I have no clue how to tell if we have that, so, thought about downloading IE 8 --- they say it still has it's own set of kinks to work out, so, we updated IE and found one critical update that we didn't have. 4 hours later, and 3 reboots later, at least we were able to get back to the radio show and download the show ;-). There's that question that's been asked since the age of computers: Do these things REALLY make your life easier? faster? better? HaaahhaaaHHHAaaahhhahhaaaaa.

Still not feeling great, and just wishing for the bed. Frustration set it with the computer issues, and yet, it sent me into another part of the house to look for something and a whole drawer of papers was cleaned out (from our last 4 moves, those papers that just got shuffled, shuffled, shuffled). So this WAS good, but progress . . . well . . .

Time to get Big Z from school and we came back quickly for an early dinner, knowing that he wasn't 100%. We ate some healthies and listened to the evening call while attempting (that's me attempting, him playing) a game of Pokemon from a new mix of cards he put together. It's beyond me how these little brains, like Big Z's, can remember all these weird characters . . . but they do, and they have fun.

Got back on the machine and it was good to read and post to our Boot Camper friends blogs.

Early to bed, in hopes that Friday will provide vitality and health
;-). And, a successful IE experience with the radio show ;-).

Wobbling Wednesday --- Day 38

Day 38

Today was Big Z's School Birthday Celebration. The after school treat was gluten-free brownies and banana slices ;-). What's cool about the celebration is the lighting of a candle while all the kids sit in circle. Then, each student comes one-by-one to Big Z and they give him a compliment, or say something nice, which often includes a "Happy Birthday!" or a "Have fun while you're 9!". Sometimes the kids have made cards and deliver these at the same time; sometimes there are airplanes, too. The teachers also give compliments, and so do parents.

What's so fun and heart-warming about this celebration is that it's really amazing to watch kids speak from their heart, sometimes copy each other, sometimes talk like each other, and to share their thoughts to Big Z for his special day. Sometimes kids pass. Some are confident and some are shy. Regardless, it's a very beautiful experience to hear every child wish my son a happy birthday. It's always lovely to hear the teachers share their appreciation for Big Z in ways that we don't always hear in conference. And, it's a special time for me and his Dad to share our love and appreciation for Big Z in front of his peers. Big Z says, "Thank you" after each person comes to him. He looks them in the eyes while he receives his gifts. He sometimes gets red in the face or smiles. And, of course it's sometimes a challenge not to get all choked up during this beautiful little ritual ;-).

The birthday child also gets to have a wallboard display of their photos in the class for a week or so, from birth to their current age. Much of my day was spent seeking photos as we've moved many times since this boy has been brought into my life. Therefore, as I sifted through history, I was struck by what a wonderful little boy I've been gifted . . . from his arrival in my belly to the maturing and young man that he is today. As I also came across family and friends, some who are with us and some who have passed on, I found that I was a blubbering sentimental mess a few times.

I also attempted a second batch of brownies since we thought our first batch may not feed all. Alas, by the time they cooled and I cut them up, I found that it appeared they didn't cook. So, in the oven they went again, and I cooked and I cooked and I cooked them, only to find that somehow, something just WASN'T right about this second batch. So, the first batch was cut in halves and somehow, someway, everyone was satiated anyhow ;-).

I took a peek at the new push towards blogtalk radio and listened to much of Ed B's Mythslayer while reading the Update.

We took in the a.m. and p.m. training calls.

I dare say nothing else got done besides posting some to the blog and going to bed early after a hot bath. For some reason, whatever got me is hanging on and I'm wimping out with body aches and headaches . . . I'm not as tough as some of you ;-). Big Z is complaining of a sore throat and fatigue, but, as always, he's making it through much better.

Proud as ever of the Boot Campers and all their efforts. Even though Ed got his chops busted in a firm and loving way on the call this a.m. by Ginny, I know there are many of us who need the same chop-busting. As such, all day I've been reflecting on what it is that's preventing certain areas of my own from moving forward . . . Message taken to heart, knowing that as much as Ginny intended her message to be for Ed, she also intended it to be to those of us who are also "not living up to our commitments to Self."

Quote for World Changer Reality Boot Campers

“Greatness is not measured by what a man or woman accomplishes, but by the opposition he or she has overcome to reach his goals.”- Dorothy Height

The Old Fisherman by Unknown Author

Our house was directly across the street from the clinic entrance of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. We lived downstairs and rented the upstairs rooms to out-patients at the clinic. One summer evening as I was fixing supper, there was a knock at the door. I opened it to see a truly awful looking man.

"Why, he's hardly taller than my eight-year-old," I thought as I stared at the stooped, shriveled body. But the appalling thing was his face -lopsided from swelling, red and raw. Yet his voice was pleasant as he said, "Good evening. I'vecome to see if you've a room for just one night. I came for a treatment this morning from the eastern shore, and there's no bus 'til morning."

He told me he'd been hunting for a room since noon but with no success, no one seemed to have a room. "I guess it's my face . . . I know it looks terrible, but my doctor says with a few more treatments . . . "

For a moment I hesitated, but his next words convinced me: "I could sleep in this rocking chair on the porch. My bus leaves early in the morning."

I told him we would find him a bed, but to rest on the porch. I went inside and finished getting supper. When we were ready, I asked the old man if he would join us. "No thank you. I have plenty." And he held up a brown paper bag.

When I had finished the dishes, I went out on the porch to talk with him a few minutes. It didn't take a long time to see that this old man had an oversized heart crowded into that tiny body. He told me he fished for a living to support his daughter, her five children, and her husband, who was hopelessly crippled from a back injury. He didn't tell it by way of complaint; in fact, every other sentence was preface with a thanks to God for a blessing. He was grateful that no pain accompanied his disease, which was apparently a form of skin cancer. He thanked God for giving him the strength to keep going.

At bedtime, we put a camp cot in the children's room for him. When I got up in the morning, the bed linens were neatly folded and the little man was out on the porch. He refused breakfast, but just before he left for his bus, haltingly, as if asking a greatfavor, he said, "Could I please come back and stay the next time I have a treatment? I won't put you out a bit. I can sleep fine in a chair." He paused a moment and then added, "Your children made me feel at home. Grownups are bothered by my face, but children don't seem to mind."

I told him he was welcome to come again. And on his next trip he arrived a little after seven in the morning. As agift, he brought a big fish and a quart of the largest oysters I had ever seen. He said he had shucked them that morning before he left so that they'd be nice and fresh. I knew his bus left at 4:00 a.m. and I wondered what time he had to get up in order to do this for us.

In the years he came to stay overnight with us there was never a time that he did not bring us fish, or oysters, or vegetables from his garden. Other times we received packages in the mail, always by special delivery; fish and oysters packed in a box of fresh young spinach or kale, every leaf carefully washed. Knowing that he must walk three miles to mail these, and knowing how little money he had made the gifts doubly precious.

When I received these little remembrances, I often thought of a comment our next-door neighbor made after he left that first morning. "Did youkeep that awful looking man last night? I turned him away! You can lose roomers by putting up such people!"

Maybe we did lose roomers once or twice. But oh! If only they could have known him, perhaps their illness' would have been easier to bear. I know our family always will be grateful to have known him; from him we learned what it was to accept the bad without complaint and the good with gratitude.

The 100th Monkey Effect --- Day 37

Day 37

Today we were a bit slower than yesterday getting out of our starting gates 'cause we didn't really go to bed early after all ;-). Instead, Big Z pressed forward with his homework and I kept on replying to blogs. By the time he was done with his work, it was l-a-t-e, way past our usual earlier bedtime. So when 7 a.m. rolled around, why, it was a stretch to get up and get ready by our a.m. call. Glad we did, though.

Pressed through with good energy until early afternoon and the wind blew out of our sails for productivity . . .

However, the most exciting part of my day was putting into practice the tip from NY Tina Katz about calling American Express to place my name and address upon the American Express Gift Card we just had arrive yesterday. Yippee!!! How fun to get to purchase another card through Big Z's Foundation Mall at http://www.bigzgivesbig.com/ and gain rebates on it ;-).

We immediately used it to pay our wireless phone bill online ;-).

I spoke with Big Z's teacher about using the travel certificates in fundraising baskets they are putting together for a raffle on Valentine's Day. She looked at MPM months ago and found that for her, it was a conflict of interest. However, she was open to the certificate usage, and, for my offer of Reconnective Healing sessions as another addition to the baskets. I let her know that many of our Boot Campers are working with their NPO's, and I hope, that one day she will see how it doesn't have to be a conflict of interest, but rather, a supportive system that gives a very sweet way to support her, her vision for the school, our kids, ourselves, and our communities. We are able to shop online and locally. In each our own timing; I honor our own paths.

I gave a VM to my friend back East who is thinking about expanding her MPM business . . . I was so excited that I want to tell her about my excitement and what is happening . . . She called back tonight, but I was on our evening training call and missed her when I called her back. We WILL connect. It's time to help her move forward ;-). She's got a young girl and is studying for her Master's Degree from home. Her husband just got a new job recently, and though it's good, she is still looking for a way to create an income for her own money.

I wrote a f/u email to a family member regarding the search I was doing for a specific product in the mall. The invitation to take a look at MPM came out of my little fingertips before I knew it because she will need to create her own income very soon. She just lost her husband. She emailed me back and wants to wait on it for now, but, she's passed info onto her daughter and has taken a peek before. I called her back and we visited for a time over other topics, but it was good to know that at least she is aware of what we are doing AND our desire to help her. She has itchy feet and wants to get out and get a job again when she is able to do so. It's been a long time at home for her, and she just wants to get out and be in the community like she was used to being when she had her last job as a waitress. She enjoys people and wants to share her smile and good energy with folks again on a daily basis.

I sent an email to a friend that has been exchanging email with me this week. We only see each other occasionally, but this person is exceptional and creative. She was talking about the renovations she is making to her shop and the fantastic things she's doing, one of which is using her skills for "mad money" which will help her gain more tools for her trade. Well, that was just the spark I needed, so, I fired an email off with an invitation to take a look at what we are doing to create our own "mad money" ;-).

I attempted to pay my renter's insurance online using our Amex Gift Card, but alas, their system isn't taking Internet payments yet. Will have to call them and do this over the phone ;-).

I sent an email to Ginny thanking her for the tip on our call about copying and pasting the e-cards vs. using the links. I think this is a fantastic idea and I didn't realize we could copy and paste the whole thing. I believe this will be a beneficial tip for us. Thanks, Ginny ;-).

I got caught up in my files while I was looking for some important info with regards to our insurance needs and wound up clearing out papers. Certain files have to go to the garage as they are not necessary to have in my file cabinet and handy. I cleared out other junk mail that was in the files that is no longer needed. In essence, I got sucked into a little bit of house-cleaning and shredding that IS good. Even though it wasn't constructive use of my time for growing Big Z's Biz, it was GOOD to have that mini-cleansing.

Afterwards I did some blogging and ate a late lunch. This is where my yawns came in ;-).

Well, needless to say, by the time I got Big Z from school after letting him and the kids run wild on the playground in the freezing cold for an hour, and by the time we went to the market to get some sort of treat to provide at his school celebration tomorrow afternoon, it was almost evening call time. We arrived home, cooked dinner, made brownies, and got on the evening training call.

Since then, we've been replying to blogs, viewed the Lost Marble marketing videos, and, Big Z got to visit with our neighbor for a bit, sharing some birthday party gifts.

And seriously, we ARE going to bed early tonight, because . . .

The most interesting news is the radio shows and other technology that we're going to gain skills with as we move forth into a time in My Power Mall history that is going to explode like The 100th Monkey Effect . . . AND, we need our rest to keep our efforts going in the direction of our dreams.

You see, we've set in motion the new skills that become habits of successful people . . . We are learning daily and implementing daily. Though we've not kept up with the arduous tasks of the Boot Campers to a T, we are doing activities that we weren't doing before in relation to growing Big Z's Enterprise. New grooves are being created in our brains that enable us to advance further because of the new we are learning and the new we are taking action with. We are gaining a new mindset, new skill sets, and becoming better and better with each passing day.

And our sleep, our rest, enables us to continue to move forward with strength and power to have the ride of our lives as the 100th Monkey Effect breaks loose in this amazing company that is here solely to effect the most delicious and positive change in people's lives ever imaginable. We will continue to learn and to implement as we move forward in the growth of our business. And if that means learning how to blog (how are we doing?), learning how to do radio shows, learning how to use social networking sites, learning how to maximize the power of the Internet for relationship marketing, then by golly, we are going to keep learning and implementing. We may be novices at first, but we'll be polished diamonds, polished professionals, just like our Boot Campers, as we ride the WAVE of Success and Philanthropy.

Wanna come along?

http://www.bigzgivesbig.com/

WOW.

It's going to be something else! This will be something that Big Z will be telling his grand kids about when he's a Grandpa . . . He'll have lived a wealthy and vital life, full of opportunity, hope and service to others by then. I hope that I'm around to hear him tell it ;-).

Monday Can Be Magic --- A New Way To Look At Life --- Day 36

Day 36

Feeling much better after this rotten little virus took hold late last week. That is GREAT, because as all the Boot Campers are saying, "We don't have time to be ill; we have people to share this great opportunity with!!!" They are right on, too.

Big Z is sitting with me tonight. He was doing his homework during the evening Boot Camp call. Which, was good as usual. The AM Boot Camp call was really good, too. These calls really provide a lot of great in the trenches information on how to grow a business from home.

For example:

"If I can show you a way that you can be making money back by buying groceries and gas and toilet paper, the things you buy everyday, would you like to learn more?"

If your answer is, "Yes! I'd like to make money every time I shop!" then click this link right here and watch the short presentation on the fastest way to earn income with a World Changer Mall Option: http://www.bigzgivesbig.com/. Become a World Changer and you can gain $600 in gas and grocery rebates over a year just for starters.

Every single person spends money. You might as well get paid for spending the money you spend everyday anyway.

And, what if you could get even more money for shopping for what you purchase everyday anyway? Well, you can. Get an American Express Gift Card and earn money; use the American Express card and shop in your mall and earn money--- there are 1100 plus stores you can choose from. You can even earn more money--- HOW?

You get team pay when you ask someone you know if they would also like to make money off of every purchase they make for groceries and gasoline, on their airline tickets, or rental cars, on their toiletries, on their glasses or vet bills. They'll likely be like YOU--- Of course they want a good deal.

Then get your own mall right here: http://www.bigzgivesbig.com/.

An added benefit is that every purchase you make in your own mall, while making money shopping on each of your purchases, you are helping fund the program One Child At A Time. One Child At A Time is funded by My Power Mall's parent company Together We Can Change The World. TWCCTW gives 6% of their profits solely for this project that supports children in need all around the world.

And if you like this idea of supporting a cause that's close to your heart, you may even GIVE a F'REE World Changer Mall to a charity of your choice and help them fund their efforts, and to help them pay their staff that is very much underpaid. You will be making a difference by doing the shopping that you do everyday anyway. What can get better than that?

"For such a time as this,"Ginny Dye says, "this company was created. For this time was coming, when people desperately need hope. We have the answer for them. And NPO's. The worse the economy is, the harder it is for them. They may have the heart to give but they don't have the funds to give. All over the globe they are hurting. We have the answer for them and it is so amazing." (quoted loosely, but as closely as I could, until the call is recorded and I can listen to the downloaded call again, from a My Power Mall Family Chat 1-26-09. You may listen in on these calls anytime you like by dialing 212-461-5800 and press this code 3497#. They happen every Monday evening at 6 p.m. P.S.T.) Ginny said that she now understands why this company was 8 years in the making . . . to be ready for times like we're experiencing in our world right now.

My Power Mall is something that may be integrated into every single day and every single person may benefit from.

To continue with our efforts for the day----

F/U with my neighbor this morning from El Salvador. Just as I suspected, she'd been feeling that her barrier with the English language prevents her from seriously looking more at Big Z's Foundation Mall. She added it's been challenging to have her and her son view the presentation together because she's working a lot in the evenings when he's home from school.

I'd given her a shoulder rub because she was tense and stiff. She had a day off today from cleaning. She cleans houses, churches and businesses for a living. I also let her borrow my chi machine for some added stress relief and said good-bye while she was using the machine.

I returned home and I followed up with the contact from Seattle who is moving East and who was interested in helping NPO's. She and her husband viewed the online videos yesterday evening at the library and they emailed me back. They want to hold on a business for now, but retain the information for another time. I left a VM as they weren't in and let them know that I would call as agreed by our previous conversation if I didn't hear back, early February. I will also follow up with an email to them, inviting them to have a Personal Mall.

I printed out and used a yellow hi-lighter the World Changer Video Presentation for my neighbor. I highlighted the most important things, and added a page from one of our updates on the grocery rebates. I thought that having a printed version would be easier for her to understand the great benefits she and her family would have, and, it would be easier for her to sit with her boy as he helped her with English.

I took the printed information to her and she could read the English much better than listening to it. So, she said if I would help her email and talk with her English speaking contacts, maybe she could do it. Then, her boy could help her with their Spanish speaking people. I told her we would be happy to help them because she and her husband work very hard. They take turns with the two kids. They are trying to give the kids a great life in America, and to enjoy their own time here, too. It is time that she doesn't have to work so hard cleaning all the time for others. It is time she can enjoy her time with her children and enjoy her time as a mother of two beautiful children. It is a time when her husband doesn't have to work quite so much after retiring once already. Yes, we will help them all we can. When we get a chance to meet again, we will see how she can get started to change their financial situation for the better.

I picked up Big Z from his school and we went directly to piano class where he's learning how to play "Sour Lemons." You can imagine how it sounds ;-). He was tired, but he perked up and had a great lesson.

When we got home, we got dinner ready and got to do some supportive blogging to our Boot Campers. Then we attended the evening Boot Camp Training Call and then the My Power Mall Family Chat. We're filled to the brim with good vibes and a positive outlook. A Monday really can be magic instead of the same old grind. It's been a great day ;-). We've now blogged and must head to bed . . . Good night, All. Sleep well.

The Spirit of Giving Moves Us --- Day 35

Day 35

Ever heard of Sarah McLachlan? You may have seen her advertisement on TV with her famous song playing in the background, "In The Arms of an Angel." She has a most amazing voice and once you've heard her sing, you do not forget her.

Here is a story about Sarah that I didn't know before reading it. Perhaps you didn't know it either, so, we share it with you now: http://www.someonebelievesinyou.com/Letters/SarahMAdult.html

The article told about her socially charged video "World On Fire." Now I want to see it ;-). So, I found the link: http://www.worldonfire.ca/. Enjoy! There is a link below the video that shows all the donations she's given.

Sarah has a true Together We Can Change The World heart . . . and I'm grateful my son and I are World Changers with My Power Mall, and we are gifted the Someone Believes in You subscription as part of our monthly World Changer fee of only $15.95 per month. This is icing on the cake of an already incredible package we receive for being World Changers. For you see, without this subscription, we wouldn't have learned about Sarah's story ;-).

If you would like to know more of Sarah's story, click here to be taken to her website where you can read her touching biography:
http://www.sarahmclachlan.com/biography.html.

And, if you would like to get your own World Changer Mall AND be able to gift a F'REE World Changer Mall to a charity or non-profit of your choice, click here and watch the World Changer Video. We'll be glad to have your Together We Can Change The World heart join us and Ginny Dye as we make a difference in the world.

100% of the funds generated by clicking this link are used for the support of non-profits around the globe. It's Big Z's Foundation 1. Thank you for supporting us and funding a powerful mission to effect positive in our world: http://www.bigzgivesbig.com/.

As Suess Karlsson, the author of Sarah McLachlan's article, states, "I want to be like Sarah... more concerned for the people of the world. I wonder if you want to be like that, too? We can be, you know... just because we can't give away $150,000 doesn't mean we can't give our time, our hands or even just $5.00 to help someone else. "

We do want to be like Sarah. And though we may not be able to get a song that we sing out to the masses like she has, we can carry our songs in our hearts . . .

And, through http://www.bigzgivesbig.com/, we are able to give and give and give. That's what fills us up inside, because we are people. As people, we care for our fellow people. We are all members of humankind and we want to do what we can to help others while we are helping ourselves. Sarah is helping people get their basic needs met. Thankfully, many of our basic needs are met. But as we attend to our own needs that aren't met, we are fortunate to be able have a way to give back. Eventually, as all of our needs are met, we trust that we can increase our focus exponentially on helping others in this life. Wouldn't you agree?

Enjoy.

"Somebody Tells Me I Can't Do Something, I Just Don't Give Up!" Randy Wilt (CBS NEWS Article)

Day 34

http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=4750398n (Apologies, the embedded video did not work today.)

To read the CBS news article copy and paste into your browser:
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/01/23/assignment_america/main4749969.shtml?source=search_story

The Boot Campers, and anyone else following their dreams can take a lesson from Randy Wilt: Never give up on your dreams because success may come at any age.

There may be one point about Randy Wilt that is overshadowed by his successful attempt at his GED after 6 years --- that is that he had his own business for many years as an auto mechanic. "He made a great living and retired comfortably," the article states.

Isn't it wonderful that in our country, you can actually become a business person even if you don't have a high school diploma? Isn't it great you can have a thriving business even if you don't have a college degree? Isn't it great that small businesses owners are the backbone of America?

Ever read a book called "The Millionaire Next Door" by Thomas J. Stanley? Randy Wilt reminds me of the typical millionaire found in Stanley's books. He's the guy that owns the local auto shop, drives the same old car year after year, saves his money, treats his clients right, supports his community, and lives far below his means. Randy Wilt may not be a millionaire financially. I don't know what level of wealth he has today. But Randy Wilt does have millionaire spirit---

Quoting the CBS article by Steve Hartman, "He had 'amazing tenacity - to have that goal and not let loose of it,' recalled Thelma Slater, Wilt's tutor." (This is kind of like the Boot Campers have been describing of their "bull-dog" moments in this last week . . .)

Randy Wilt is a life-long learner and he's not sitting in a rocking chair until he passes from this earth. Instead, he's keeping his mind fresh and active, and now he's going to college. I wonder what else Randy Wilt will do with his life?

In the words of of SBIY, we say, Randy, we know you can get your college degree and more because . . .

Someone Believes in You.

****What is Someone Believes In You (SBIY)?

Day 33

Day 33

Today I spent some time with a client and friend as she cements her training in Reconnective Healing. My time with her reminds me that it is very good to gather a "team." Those folks in your life with common interests and values. Teams can form in your family, in your community, in your work, and in our business.

The World Changer Reality Boot Campers are a team, and their team efforts have been so good for every single one of us --- whether we are Alternate Campers or we are Follower Campers. When we create teams in our lives, yes, we create Together.Everyone.Achieves.More. and we also receive inspiration, hope, support; we receive balance and the gift of each other's strengths; by teaming up we become more collectively than we could be individually. I believe that having teams in your life will actually bring you more joy and comfort, and longevity.

What kinds of teams do you have in your own life?

Do you have any places in your life you notice your team is missing?

Do you know people who you would like to have on one your team that you've not gotten around to inviting yet?

Interesting to think about, and I didn't intend on sitting down to write this, but I'm glad it's surfaced ;-).

Big Z awoke feeling great and had a great day, which included time at the ice rink with his school mates.

I awoke feeling not-so-good, so getting through the day was my first priority. I went shopping for all those comfort and nurturing foods . . . chicken noodle soup, lemon-ginger-maple syrup tea, lemonade, cayenne, maple syrup tea, chicken noodle soup, tea, soup, tea . . .

I did manage to give a shout-out to 2 people about the grocery rebates. One I've spoken to before and she said that she will have to give it a peek soon. The other person I met at the grocery store, my son's friend's Mom from long ago . . . We caught up and I gave her an invitation card for the Boot Camp 'cause they're in some pretty tough times.

We joined the a.m. and p.m. calls.

Bedtime early again tonight to allow the bod to recuperate. Boot Campers, I know you've ALL been having your share of the creepin' crud. I empathize . . . And, I salute your stamina ;-).

Enjoy.

GROCERY REBATES to the tune of $300 --- Day 32

Day 32

Today we listened to a.m./p.m. conference calls. The a.m. call, especially, was chock full of good information and training.

We researched a product for a family member who would like to use Big Z's Mall for purchase (they are not yet ready to know more).

We spoke with Big Z's Dad about his support and options for gaining rebates. He will likely get a personal mall in a few months so that he can gain his own rebates while also supporting his son's business.

We wrote an email to our contact from our call yesterday. We explained that she may grow her business in any way that most utilizes her passions and her strengths, which may very well be what many Boot Campers are doing now: working directly with Non-Profit agencies that are near and dear to their hearts. She was concerned that she may not be able to do what I was doing. Though I let her know in our telephone conversation that I was stepping out of my comfort zone and that as I pressed my own boundaries, I was able to do this. It wasn't without fear. Each time gets easier. So, I wanted to let her know, as we are seeing with the Boot Campers, that there are many ways to put the word out that will bring rebates back to her business while funding organizations that are important to her. We also let her know that there are tools in the back office, such as the e-card we sent, that will be available for her use, as well as training materials and calls that will help educate her on how to be effective in growing her business.

We did some updating to blogs and we finally found out how to embed a YouTube video into the text portion of the blog. Needless to say, I was quite ecstatic to learn how, finally ;-).

Over the last few days we've been taking the World Changer Training Manual Script and re-typing it for our own use. I don't have an ability on my computer to alter the .pdf document, or to copy/paste, so, I'm pulling out what is necessary for me, and making small changes. I'm also typing up the Contact Info Sheet so that it follows directly with the interview questions. There are a few that are missing and I notice the flow of my note-taking slows in these points. I feel that doing this will help us be more effective when we are calling people and giving them their interview.

Today we ordered our Grocery Rebate from our back office. WOW! How wonderful it is going to be to receive it and begin a year long program that will GIVE us $25 per month in REBATES!

Now, that is some kind of business that REWARDS you to continue doing what you do EVERYDAY ANYWAY---- SHOP for GROCERIES!!!! That's $300 we will be GAINING this year. YEAH!

What's MORE is that we're not only able to gain additional REBATES for buying GROCERIES, but we're able to support the One-Child-At-A-Time Program, AND, we're able to support a Together We Can Change The World Foundation Mall at the same time. ;-)

The question is:

How would YOU like to get $300 in Grocery Rebates for doing what you have to do ANYHOW? It's not like we can stop our grocery shopping. These are EVERYDAY items that we NEED EVERYDAY ANYWAY.

Get your Rebates Today: http://www.bigzgivesbig.com/.
And, smile because you're supporting yourself, your family, and a good cause all at the same time ;-). Thank you.

Thanks, Ginny and the wonderful team at Together We Can Change The World, Inc./My Power Mall! We so much appreciate all your efforts to give us the B-E-S-T.

We're calling it an early night.

GinnyDye Channel on YouTube --- Day 31

Day 31

We just found the new My Power Mall Corporate Video on the "GinnyDye Channel" at YouTube. It's fun and informative! If you haven't watch it yet, check it out by watching the short video above!

And then, when you're done, come support Big Z's Foundation Mall by signing up as a World Changer at http://www.bigzgivesbig.com/. Let's help each other make a difference in each others lives by funding non-profits around the globe, and adding funds to the One-Child-At-A-Time-Program created by Together We Can Change The World, Inc.

"Play a part; it does a heart good!" (by Big Z's Mom)

Conference call this a.m. was GREAT. A true motivator, and a great way to set the tone for the day.

I received a return phone call from a f/u ---- she's a person that wanted information on a home business and we connected, but due to my trip to CA, we postponed our interview until our return home. She and her husband are mostly moved to another state. They are in Seattle selling their home now, and awaiting the few remaining months her husband is working his job.

I returned her call and we had a fine visit. She was very happy to report their house sold, and much more quickly than they'd ever thought it would. That is GREAT news! She had attempted to go to the library to view the online presentation. They were short of time, so in essence, pulled it up, viewed it for a few minutes, and then had to go. When she returned with a bigger block of time, she felt like she didn't get to the right spot as it looked different to her-- and it was! The new presentations were finished and uploaded to the site on her second visit. She wondered, "Where did Ginny Dye go?"

She knows that it's likely either she or her husband must have a job. She's looking at the My Power Mall business for both her and her husband. The element she liked the best is knowing that she could help fund non-profits; she wants to help others.

She's a great organizer and office manager, and really wants to support another in that role. So, I told her how wonderful it is when spouses play off each other's strengths and they each do the activities that grow their businesses that fulfill them, and that move them forward. Say she works with the background activities, like emailing or letter writing, but it's her husband that goes out and talks to people, meets people or visits non-profit organizations.

She and her husband are already supporting three kids in Asia and they spend $80 a month to do this. I'll follow up in an email, she will get the link for the beautiful SIFA Choir video that is found to the right on the GinnyDye Channel for YouTube. In this way, she can understand how to relate the vision of Together We Can Change the World with her own vision of helping others around the globe. They have friends in Sudan who are missionaries. They let her know there are teachers there who work for zero pay. She wondered if there was a way to help them with funding. The answer is YES. It is possible.

The house sale closes on January 29. Since she's without a vehicle, and still packing up the house to move all the rest of their belongings to their new home, she was unsure when she'd get back to the library to watch the presentation. She will email me when she is able to do this so that we can set up a time to talk again. At the outside, if I don't hear from her by early February, I will call her again.

Another friend walked over to see us for a cup of tea today. She knows that Big Z's Business has Vitacost as one of his stores since I'd mentioned it to her after seeing a sales magazine on her table. She orders enzymes from them. In a few weeks, she's going to order more, and she wants to buy them from Big Z. She's resisted her own business for a long while. And, that's Okay. What I will do, however, is work up a letter to her and her sister, who is her right-hand-helper as she moves forward in expanding the reach of her own businesses. Her mother has done every home business under the sun, and so, she's pretty resistant to any form of home business, whether or not they have a great product or service. I don't know if her sister feels the same (there are three sisters and one brother). Therefore, it's worth sending a note to each of them, and if her sister does the footwork, there may be a way to form an alliance between their existing marketing and plans and dovetailing it with a My Power Mall business. Excitedly, we squealed about the new $300 in grocery rebates!!!!

What's important is that whether this friend ever decides to have a business or not, it's lovely that she would choose to support Big Z even if she didn't gain from it. She may like a personal mall to gain her own rebates. If not, however, we celebrate her choices, her path. We are all different; we are all alike. We support anyone's choices for their own needs and growth.

We tuned into our evening Boot Camp call, and as always, we're glad to tune in twice daily for tips and motivation. Thanks, everyone!

Enjoy.

Inauguration Day --- Day 30

Day 30

Inauguration Day, and a Day to Go Down in History for All

This morning was filled with fanfare and excitement as President Elect Obama took his oath as 44th President of the United States of America. Big Z stayed home extra long so that he could take in the event on T.V. We don't have cable or any extra features, but since we have a cable modem, we have the luxury of gaining 12 basic channels, one of which was CBS.

Maggie K. from MPM Customer Service rang my phone at 0755 . . . We spent about 20 minutes as she shared the steps to getting started with the live chat service. I'll be on deck on Sundays.

Big Z has been enthralled with the lengthy process of Obama becoming President. He and many of his friends have been. It was really good to be here with him. His school attempted to view it live-streaming on a laptop another parent brought in, but apparently, it didn't work too well as so many people were also trying to do the same.

I admit that I felt a bit celebratory afterwards . . . And, as the sun still shines in our world, I decided to take action and wash our car in the gorgeous sunshine. It really was looking pretty dirty . . . While I was at it, I took time to prune back our very few roses, hanging baskets and trees. Though it wasn't something that moved our business forward, it moved me forward, and it lifted my spirits. I was shocked at the time when I looked at the clock, but happy as could be.

I checked out the Live Chat training that I was asked to read before my Sunday session as Live Chat Operator for My Power Mall. I've also downloaded the software console which assists the operators in handling the queries from members and non-members alike. On Sunday, Maggie will walk me through the system and hold my hand while I help my first few customers ;-). It's going to be a great experience.

MPM Update came through, which is always a wonderful addition to any day . . . Thanks, Ginny.

I emailed my friend RE: her Booster Club meeting and let her know my availability for the evening, and that I didn't want to intrude upon work time.

The PM conference call tonight was really, really good. Jacki is back and facilitated the call with ease, and the Campers complied by answering all her queries. Campers are doing a GREAT job.

After the call, I called my follow-up appointment. No answer. So, left her a message.

I called my friend re: Booster Club meeting. Her son answered and said she was on her commute home, so, I left a VM on her cell phone. I didn't expect to catch her as cell service is spotty in the county I grew up in.

I called my brother. We caught up on things since our trip to CA. His wife has just lost her main job, the one that included her benefits. They live in San Jose, and money is always a stretch in this part of California as it is. As I told him what our plan is moving into the new year, he asked about Big Z's business. I gave him the link and he fired it up on his computer. He is going to look at it, and may be considering it for his wife in the mean time. It would be just fantastic to help my family.

And, just after Big Z was attempting to get me into a Pokemon game, I got a call from our friend and fellow MPM member. She and her husband, and their baby, are on their way back from the Lincoln Memorial. They traveled from CT to DC to spend time with his father and to meet up with his sister. They got to leave the kids with Grandpa and head down to see the action this morning. They said it was incredible, and they enjoyed their 45 minute walk to/from the location Grandpa dropped them off. People from all around the globe were in the crowd. The most peaceful feeling they'd ever felt in that area happened today. Her husband and his sister grew up there, and their Dad has been working in politics for years, so, they have a handle on what it normally feels like. The energy was palpable, and just as the media said, everyone had a smile on their faces. Though they are tired, they are so encouraged and excited. They even found a hip-hop song about Obama on the radio while they are trying to stay awake, and attempted to share it with us; alas, the hip-hop didn't make its way through the phone line as well, and the laughs were lost on us ;-).

Ed B. Boot Camper, maybe you noticed that President Obama reiterated the hopeful words of Paul Zane Pilzer in the book you recommended, The Next Millionaires. Perhaps you didn't. But if it hadn't been for you bringing it up and being so fired up about its contents, I wouldn't have read it; and, I would've been clueless about some of what Obama spoke about in terms of the economy and technology. Thank you very, very much. This read has made quite an impact on me, and couple it with what we heard today from our new President, I say again:

We are right where we are supposed to be ;-). Happy are we to be right where we are supposed to be.

Money Is Not the Most Important Thing ---- Love Is

This YouTube video was sent to me this morning. Thought I'd share it with you. I will watch it with Big Z in the next few days as we have the moments to share together. Enjoy.

Message From Big Z

Have a great night, everyone, even though you are probably in bed ;-). I can't wait for Obama to be President!

JOKE:

Why did the duck cross the road?

The chicken was on vacation ;-).

(He learned that from his friend today, and he's laughing his head off right now.)

The Day Before The World Changes --- Day 29

Day 29

This day began with a wonderfully Boot-Kickin' Boot Camp Training Call. Ginny asked the Boot Campers to really consider WHY they are pushing forth. And, to take that WHY and to sprint across the finish line and give their ALL from now until the end of Boot Camp. It was really inspiring.

As I contemplate our own goals this weekend, I remembered back to some training where an effective method of achievement was "sprinting" for certain periods of time. One unit of time was the quarter. Take 3 months, or 90 days, and break it down into manageable goals to accomplish each month, and each week within the month.

When I consider the Boot Camp and our slow start to catch the Campers in late November (Big Z on vacation, and my trip to CA for my ailing step-Dad), and the Pause that occurred due to our trip south to CA for services for my step-Dad, and staying on longer for Christmas and due to the snow, I know that for us, the stops and starts have been challenging.

After the Pause for the Boot Campers, there were a number of folks that weren't able to press on for whatever the reason. Some reasons I know; others I don't. Regardless, I know that they gave their all while they were participating, and, they were growing by leaps and bounds by moving through their fears.

The Campers, as we've recently expressed, are reaching their stride . . . And, we are getting back into a rhythm, too. We want it to continue. The Boot Camp is scheduled to end soon. I've heard 10 days; I've heard 2 weeks. Regardless, it's almost ZERO TIME LEFT PEOPLE. I want the Campers to keep their momentum, and to keep making their big strides, riding the big powerful wave that surges towards the big Tidal Wave . . . I want them to succeed.

I want them to keep having successes. And, I want us to do the same. I want the calls to continue. They are a wonderful way to keep our motivation and be inspired, to gain ideas, and to move forward.

What will happen when they aren't there, and, we haven't begun our own calls yet?

Will we keep blogging? Will we keep supporting?

Will we keep pressing forward with the same level of determination and passion for our WHYs and our Commitments to ourselves?

[(Big Z is reading as I type this, and he bent into my left ear, and he said, "The answer is, 'YES!'" Smart boy, he is ;-), though, he's resisting bed-time . . .]

My hope is that the answers are INDEED yes, for Ginny is exactly right: It is our own commitments to ourselves that are the most important. However, our word and commitments to ourselves are also something to consider as we move about in our home, with our family, with our friends, with the community. We're guilty as anyone for letting Life creep into our daily lives and steal away our dreams because we are thrown off track, and our steps don't move towards our dreams any longer. When we finally turn around and another year has gone by, we wonder why we are still in the same place, the same situation, and we look around us and see that our dreams may be further away than ever before. My, my. My son is 9! How did THAT happen?

Boot Camp is assisting us with moving forward. We've made progress. But, we've not made near enough progress as we want.

Today Big Z rejoined me. At the time he arrived home, I was getting Windows Messenger set up on my computer and getting info from Nita, the Director of My Power Mall/Together We Can Change The World Customer Support. A call went out on Friday for Live Chat Operators. I've decided that I'm going to assist. There are several reasons why: First is that I like to help people find what they are looking for. Second, there are so many people in this company that have given and given and given. Now that we've committed with Boot Camp, we're committed in every way. We're taking ownership. As such, it's time for us to give to the company that is giving us so much. A third reason is that it can only HELP us learn more, and be better sponsors to our team. By this coming Sunday, I should be set up as a Live Chat Operator ;-).

Shortly afterwards, Big Z had a playtime set up with a friend, so we scooted to the sun and the water to meet him. Afterwards, we had piano lessons.

When we got home, it was slice open the butternut squash and bake it, while getting the rest of dinner prepared. In the process, Big Z got his Pokemon(s) squared away and I got to reply to some blogs. It was so GREAT to read from Susan and that she is feeling better ;-).

Just before the PM call [(ever optimistic, we hoped it would be on as well as Family Chat). Unfortunately, Jacki is ill. So, Jacki, we're pullin' for you!!!] I called my friend in CA who had the Booster Club idea. To my surprise, she'd watched the presentation and was on her way to a Booster Club meeting then and there. She said she was going to try to present the information to them, and she was a little unsteady 'cause she had to get out the door and couldn't find her keys. We talked about the ability for all of them to watch the NPO presentation tonight, at the same time. She wasn't sure if it was possible, but maybe. I sent her the Q&A's for the NPO's so they would at least have something, including the whole manual. I've not read the manual for months, and I told her up front that tonight MAY NOT be the best night to talk with them ;-). Instead, maybe she wanted to get familiar by getting her own mall, supporting her college kids, etc. and learning more. However, she knows these people, and has been involved with the school in one way or another since we graduated from there in 1988. So, I don't know what she chose to do. I just let her know that I'd answer all I could, and if I couldn't, I'd enlist the support of Jacki and/or Ginny. Will keep you posted ;-).

I called my f/u scheduled at 6:15 early since the only call was going to be the Family Chat. I thought to invite her to the call, but I didn't want to if it was going to be about the PM Dialer. So, I asked her if I could reschedule for 7:15 instead. She confessed it had been a very wild day, and she was worn out, and hadn't watched it yet. In the hour she had, she said she would try to watch it and show it to her neighbor, too. When I called back, the neighbor answered and said that my f/u had to go into work to help with a client's tax return. I left my message for her to email me, and that I would call at 6:15 tomorrow night.

Lastly, we got to read a few more blogs, post ourselves, and now we must be off to beddy-bye.

Have a great sleep, everyone!!!

Sunday Significant Actions --- Day 28

Day 28

Hey, hey, hey!

* f/u with friend I missed yesterday. Connect and great visit. Dropped info re: BigZ's Biz. Their family is facing foreclosure, his wife lost her job in the auto industry, they have an almost 4 y/o with health issues that require much medical. They have to move . . . they are trying to renovate a trailer in a park by the time they are forced from their home. Will stay in contact.

* call to a friend for visit and update. Had mentioned Big Z's Biz before . . . Let her know that we devoting our efforts to it. Her phone was beeping with an almost dead battery. Will catch up later.

* f/u call to a local contact from early December. M/L on VM and told her about new $300 grocery rebates.

* called a friend to catch up. VM. Message left.

* f/u to a lead that came in early December. We had a phone exchange while I was in CA, and agreed to talk again after the new year. VM. M/L. Shared info on the new Grocery Rebates and will call again.

* f/u to a local contact that was very interested in MPM. We agreed to check in monthly with any new updates as their world was crazy in December. VM. M/L. Will send a f/u email.

* f/u with a lead that came in that I wasn't able to speak with before Christmas. I left her a VM. I left a message someone when she wasn't there. She was glad I called as she'd lost my number.

I took her through the interview process in the World Changer Clinic Manual and she was amenable to it.

She's prepping her home for the new foster children she hopes to have in her home ;-). Her three kids are now grown, but one lives with her. Her boyfriend drives a local produce truck at night. They are awaiting their foster care license. She is on disability and receives social security support. She wants to have a business from home. She's totally on board with the TWCCTW philosophy, having interest in helping increase breast cancer awareness, helping the elderly, helping foster kids, and helping children as she's familiar with children's hospitals. She would like to prove to others that someone with a disability CAN succeed in a business from home. Right now she works p/t with tax preparation. A few hundred extra a month would help her a great deal, but to have a level of comfort for her family, and to save for emergency fund, she would like to bring home a couple of thousand dollars a month. Right now she is taking classes through the University of Phoenix in Business Management. For her, success is up to the person! I've given her the web address, and send an e-card. We have a f/u call scheduled for tomorrow evening after Boot Camp Training Call.

* listened to recorded Monday Night Family Chat from 1-12-09 with Jacki discussing the PM Dialer lead results, efforts with non-profits, including an update from Camper, Andrea, on her recent work with a private school, and Jean Lacowicz sharing about our upcoming Together We Can Change the World Day on February 7, 2009 preparations.

*pep call with Boot Camper

*volunteer for Chat Line Operator position with My Power Mall

Get the Book From the Library if You Have To

Put The Next Millionaires by Paul Zane Pilzer on your reading list. I finished it last night. I have marks and lines all throughout it. I wish I could whip up all the messages P.Z.P. gave that let us know that Together We Can Change the World and My Power Mall are perfect vehicles to create wealth in the next 7 years --- Not only create wealth, but become the next millionaires.

As with any good read, there is still a lot that falls through the cracks since a book can only give you so much information. The over all messages and the details he gives are enough. It's going to be fascinating to see how the economy shapes up, especially with his recommendations. And, it's going to be so much fun to create our own wealth in spite of the economy.

I'll see about getting more details from the book onto paper as a reference, but only after some diligence in the areas that will move us forward.

Sun shines again today --- Whoo-hooo!

THANK YOU, ED BROOKS. You're a gem ;-).

Saturday Satisfaction --- Day 27

Day 27

I've spent much of today reading blogs, and reading The Next Millionaires by Paul Zane Pilzer, seeking current info he may have, and catching up on some house-keeping for office and home. I saw Big Z when he and his Dad came by to get some accouterments for a trip to the ice skating rink --- it's an indoor rink. What was most ironic about the trip to the rink was that this is our first SUNNY day in a long, long while. I got a trip on my bicycle in to the post office and felt the thrill of impending Spring ---never mind that it wasn't much above 30 degrees. I know, I know. Much warmer than some of the Campers have it.

All day I've been mindful of where I'm placing my energies. I realize I ought to be making calls, but I just can't get my head out of this Pilzer book. My thoughts are swimming, and before I say that it's giving me another affirmation that we're right where we're supposed to be in our lives, I want to finish it to make sure I don't miss anything that may change my opinion ;-). Ed, it's one good read ;-).

I spoke with a friend and MPM member last night. She and her family were on their way to D.C. to take in as much as they could of the events leading up to Obama's Inauguration Day. How very, very cool! I was able to share with her our newest bonus for being World Changers: $300 Certificate for Groceries. WOW! I just can't get over the benefit this will bring into our household ;-). If there were any time we could use it, it's n-o-w.

I also called a friend I haven't spoken with since last year. Left a message.

I called another friend from my home town that I missed seeing in November, and, didn't get another chance to call or see her at Christmastime. We had a very long visit, catching up, as we rarely get to do. She's got twins in college, a 13 year old at home, and she's taking a break from her own education while she adjusts to life without her beautiful twins, a boy and a girl.
She works hard for people in her community, and has always been civic minded. Due to the pinching of pennies, she's wearing about 5 different hats within her organization.

We once got to share a Relay-For-Life that she and her kids were participating in on one of my visits home. This was the first time we ever spoke about the concept of doing what we could to help the world. It was a very uplifting experience, and it was awesome to see how her kids relished the challenge of creating their own fundraising teams, and brought people together. My friend has a Together We Can Change the World Heart.

I caught her up on our life and what we are now doing to create income-- MPM and Reconnective Healing. She's on my old high school's Booster Club, so, of course, after we discussed how to solve the woes of the world (;-)), I let her know that MPM may be able to help fund the Booster Club. Right now, their main source of funding comes from the sales at the snack booths during games, which are mostly football. She ran down the list of cuts that have happened this year due to the economic situation at the school:

Hiring freeze
Grant helpers laid off
Reimbursements for school supplies being paid with IOU's
No increase in mileage reimbursements
Cola increase is zero
All field trips cancelled
No after school trips
No after school tutoring

Ouch. And I thought it was bad when I was a student.

I used the template in the back office to create an email to my friend, and I created an E-card for schools, and added the NPO voice message to it and sent her the link to learn more about having a f'ree World Changer Mall to fund the Booster Club after she said she would like to know more. I'll check in with her again on this. For years, I've wanted to have a way for us to spend more time together, and in collaboration on a project in which we can make a difference. This just **may** be the answer ;-).

Thanks to the Boot Campers who are paving the way. Gotta love you guys and gals, that's for sure.

Lastly, I emailed our friend at our credit union, as per the message in the blog last evening.

"Go Out and Fix the World"

I was curious about Pilzer's take on the recent economic doom and gloom, especially since he speaks about our last recession that was worst period of economic decline since the Great Depression at the beginning of The Next Millionaires, that of 1989. Pilzer wrote a book that explained why he thought the opposite was true: Unlimited Wealth. But what about today? This is the most recent comments I could find to see how his view compares today vs. the 2006 printing of The Next Millionaires.

Friday-- Day of Recharging --- Day 26

Day 26

The day was good. A bit of tension still showed itself on the morning call, but disappeared as Ginny gave her final message just as the call ended, which seemed aimed directly for my ears so that my soul could hear: In essence, we're all where we are, no need to despair. The ones riding the wave are on their own path and reaping the rewards of their own growth and lessons, past and present; and those of us awaiting the ride will have our moment in due time. It's OK. It's all good. Ginny said it much better, but as we were driving to Big Z's school at the time, I didn't get to write it down.

Today was a day of reflection and preparation, and bolstering of our Spirits.

I wrote a number of thank you notes, a heart-lifting experience. They are to people in my family who have helped me during the last few months.

I went to the bank and cashed checks, the evidence of energy moving in our lives, and, abundance here and now--- and the physical evidence of what I've already shared about the messages we've received this week: We're in the right place doing the right things. I went to this branch to see how our teller was doing with her move to town. She was busy with another customer, therefore, didn't get a chance to give a shout-out. As I departed, she had another customer, but even so, I'll send her an email to let her know I was there in case she didn't see me.

I had an hour of Nintendo DS (a game Big Z's father purchased for him for his birthday) and POKEMON--- whew, while crammed into our now too small recliner. I've now been indoctrinated into the land Pokemon, and the craze of DS technology. Thankfully, and to my absolute surprise, there is a volume button on it!!! Big Z had been asking, and asking, and asking if he could show it to me over the last two weeks it's been in our home. I told him he could when there was nothing else pressing. The first week it stayed at his Dad's; the second it came here, but no time; this is the third week. I'd say he's practiced his patience pretty well and deserved the his spot light.

Beyond this, after the call ended, I talked with Big Z about yesterday, and the message Ginny had just given. He patiently waited and said, "OK. So, Mom. After school I don't want you to schedule anything so that we can look at my DS." He had that all figured out, didn't he?

I read the blogs and was happy to catch up. Haven't gotten to reply to all yet, but if you're a Camper and reading this, know that we're caught up on your amazing progress.

Also on the p.m. call, which was very abbreviated due to few Campers.

Read the update and happily celebrated the grocery rebate info:

WHAT?

Yes. You heard it here: A grocery rebate, to the tune of $300 over the course of the year, is one of the many rewards of being a World Changer!!!!

To summarize with info from today's My Power Mall Update for January 16, 2008:

"Want another reason to be a World Changer?
"How about a $300 Grocery Rebate Certificate!?
"Between the $300 Gas Rebate Certificate and the $300 Grocery Rebate Certificate, you could be bringing $600 back into your house - while only spending $29.95 to get started and $15.95 a month moving forward (total: $205.40).

"Wow! Spend $205, get almost $400 back,
"AND make money from every purchase and from Team Pay!"

Sounds like win-win to me ;-).

Reading Boot Camper Ed's recommended book this week: The Next Millionaires by Paul Zane Pilzer. This book is the fueling me, and I thank Ed for mentioning it on the call so that it brought my awareness back to it being on my shelf. It's a good read, and yet another message that we're right where we oughta be for our own financial well-being.

Thus far, I'd say, Mr. Pilzer oughta have his own My Power Mall because from what I've read thus far, he has the Together We Can Change the World Spirit of Economics!

With that, I bid you good night.

The Squeeze --- Day 25

Day 25

Today I met with some challenges . . . Inner challenges. Big Z is beginning to have some issues with the amount of time my attention is diverted from him while moving forward in the growth of Big Z's Enterprise. Long story short, we ended up butting wills before school, and, as I was straining to hear the conference call. My core reared up in anger and frustration. We talked on the way to school and I checked in with him again about our move forward.

Big Z understands that he wants a business; he wants it to grow. He also understands that he would rather have me home vs. being out at a job. If I was working, life would be more much more hectic and he would see much less of me. He would gain more time with his Dad, but, as his Dad is working his own business from home, there is likelihood that he would be with another caregiver during the hours he wasn't in school. This is one of the reasons I have always wished to remain home and work from home vs. working outside of the home-- maximizing time with my son.

Flexibility; time freedom; an ability to stay home if Big Z is ill, or, for the many days that school is out of session, whether planned or unplanned; taking time off in the summer; and the hope of making an income that can far exceed what can be made at a 9-5 job ---- these are the the attractors for growing Big Z's Business. Added to this are college education funds, and, an ability to set Big Z up financially for his life, ensuring that not only are his needs met, but, that he is able to live comfortably and give to others so that their lot in life may be improved as well.

This business is valuable for Big Z in learning from the get-go that helping others in life is just the right thing to do. Having Foundation Malls that devote 100% of the income off our efforts is incredible for both of us. It puts giving on the same level as taking care of ourselves. The saying goes, "Help enough people get what they want in life and the rest takes care of itself," and as much as that is true, we know that sometimes, we have to help ourselves first before we can help others. Just like they tell parents on the airplane: Put your mask on first; then secure the mask on your child. This is the bonus of having a World Changer Mall and a World Changer Foundation underneath you. You get to help others and make a difference with your lives; and, you get to help yourself, all with the same amount of effort.

Our butting of wills and Big Z's desire to distract my attention from the call created a lot of stress in my body. It was really difficult to shake it. Eventually I did when I was visiting with a client and her family for a few hours, however, upon my departure and as I was shopping for some groceries, I felt it creep back in. As I tried to get a handle what I was feeling, I became frustrated. And, the feeling intensified the closer it came to pick up Big Z from school. The feeling was even more intense during the evening call.

While making our big effort to be Boot Camp followers, making our commitment to put much of our life's energy into growing the business, knowing our financial situation is dire and it's either grow the business or get a job, I'm beyond the panic mode, even though the economic forecast says we're in the worst financial times since the Great Depression. We're choosing "grow the business." Why? Because our hopes and our chances of success are greater by sticking it out with My Power Mall than our chances of employment (I learned this at a temp. agency before Thanksgiving), AND, employment 9-5, or more, isn't that much of a thrilling occupation for me anyhow.

And there is another rub. Since our return from our California trip over the holidays, very little has happened that appears to be moving us forward except for the messages that we're in the right place, both with Big Z's Enterprise and my healing work. I've known that we would redirect our energies towards working with leads, because they are something that we already have--- we don't have to spend money to get them. Big Z has been rewarded leads from winning contests and I've had a bunch sitting in Peak Impact's System. But, since the New Year, I've not called a single one. ***WHAAT???***

This causes the pressure build-up: struggle with Big Z over my attention diverted, even though we are still getting time to play games, etc; and though the week has been filled with having a client daily (which brings immediate income and life passion realized, two very important life necessities), I've made zero calls, which in essence, moves our business no where . . .

Zero calls = Zero dollars. That's the bottom line. Camper Eleanor has said it best: Work your business like a business and it will pay you like a business.

I emailed a Boot Camper yesterday. We're in similar situations and we're becoming friends through this Boot Camp. As I wrote her, I realize that I am taking action in the business, I have intentions for growing the business, Big Z and I are in as much alignment as we can be about it at his young age.

It is good the action I am taking, it is supportive of others and I am fulfilled in this way, however, unless I do what I must to speak to people and make them aware of My Power Mall, and FIND THOSE WHO DO WANT TO CHANGE THEIR LIVES, sorting the chaff from the grain, nothing will happen to grow Big Z's Enterprise ;-).

In addition, the Wave that Ginny and Jacki began to ride early in the new year is now the Boot Campers' Wave, and that Wave is turning into a Tidal Wave of Good Will and Growth with the daily sign ups of new members to the Boot Camp Teams. Momentum is picking up.

The bottom line: Though I've felt the energy, celebrated the success of others, and know that my board is in the water and my feet are feeling the warm surf lap against my legs, and the inviting blue skies mixed with rich salt air, and the increasingly larger waves in succession that carry my vision into the vast distance of Ginny's powerful Together We Can Change the World Mission, we are not riding the wave. For the only way to RIDE THE WAVE is to HAVE TEAM MEMBERS who are also waxing their boards and setting off to ride their waves along with us.

This isn't new news. But I'm feeling it in a new way for this Boot Camp. Now, the question is, What am I going to do about it? What are we going to do about it?

We must create a plan for success. We must set our minds and hearts upon achievement of success by working our plan. The plan must not have deviations unless they are very good reason for deviations. We have to set limits and boundaries. We must have incremental rewards for incremental attainment of our plan. We must be consistent in talking with people; we must be consistent in following up. We must be consistent in teaching our team. We must practice the art of being balanced, and being focused. We must remember to rest, renew, play, exercise and meditate. We must be vigilent in asking the question: Is this going to move me closer or further from my intented destination, and then we must make our final call--- sometimes we will move further away, but as long as we *know* it is happening and we choose it in that moment, we will also have chosen consciously and be able to accept that choice without feeling guilty, disappointed, angry, etc. We must celebrate the *missed moments* while following the plan because it is following the plan that will take us ultimately where we want to go.

Anything I missed? ;-0>

I went to bed early tonight with Big Z, snuggled up in his covers next to him, and was so grateful to put my head on the pillow and relax all parts of me. As Reconnective Healing Energies washed over me, I let go. While there, I couldn't help but feel that calling it a day was the best decision I could make. And, it was clear that while being there next to him, and feeling his quick relaxation and registers, that he was getting what he needed, too. For a few hours, we were being healed, and I knew that whatever had transpired in the day was being washed clean. We were Being, Together, bathed by God and All That Is, and held in the hands of Grace.

Three hours later, I bolted awake, still feeling the headiness from sleep and the R.H. Energies. I smiled at Big Z, and listened to his breathing. I got up and really didn't want to do anything but sleep some more. Sleep didn't come however. Instead, this blog posting and my continued thoughts of the Boot Campers . . .

Oh how we wanted to be Boot Campers. But, a tiny voice in me said that there would be no way we could manage the intense requirements. As it happens, it's great that we didn't put our application in. And, the death of my step-Dad and my two trips to CA impeded upon our ability to give all out. Regardless of this, we have had the intention of being the best Boot Campers that we can. We have not lived up to the intense requirements, and that is just reality without judgement.

And, when I consider those of you who are left as Boot Campers throughout this day, and all your challenges, your jobs and your commutes, the illnesses, the cold, the auto accidents, the family life and requirements of daily living, and the battles with Self and Fear, I have to say that I don't know how you manage to be such great Boot Campers. But you are Great Boot Campers. You are here. You are doing what you must do daily. You are succeeding. You are on the MPM WAVE. Your MPM Tidal Wave is Success. And, that Tidal Wave is Changing the World, one step and one seed at a time. How proud I am of all of you. And, how inspired I am by all of you.

And our little hiccup today brings me back to a call that happened early in the Boot Camp. Some of you were experiencing your own hiccups and Ginny gave a pep-talk. This hiccup is temporary. Emotions are fleeting. And, I know, that hiccups are the necessary requisites for growth. You all are prime examples of it. Will there be more hiccups? It's assured (oh, this reminds me of a Dr. Suess book, "Oh, the Places You'll Go!"), you will have more hiccups. The good news is that you, me, and Big Z will move beyond those hiccups and time and time again.

Here's to YOU!
