Rest? Well, I don't think the day had any rest in life, but rest did occur in TWCCTW/MPM, and it's according to schedule.
The sleep-over last evening was a great time and capped off this morning with a orange juice with apple and spinach juice, followed by a great breakfast, Pokemon, and a bike ride around the community. This was Big Z's friend's first trip around "town" and on a bigger bike, so we kept it slow, took some trails and tame city streets, and practiced the rules of the road.
Next came the Boy Scout project from last year ;-). The Pinewood Derby creation. Spent most of the day outside with a coping saw, chisels, a vise, working hands, sand paper of various grits, paints and brushes . . .
While we awaited paint to dry between coats, we tackled the bikes, and cleaned their chains and gunk. Then came the idea to finally thaw the freezer since I'd gotten to the ice chest in the garage, AND, we were out in the warmth and partial sun. So, got at the long task of letting ice thaw for a few hours. And, well, we were still out there, so got sweeping done. And, then more time was available, so we put the odometer gadget Big Z got for his B-day on his bike . . . tested it, tweaked it, tested it again, and whew! Big Z got up to 12 miles/hr.
Big Z's Dad showed up with supplies for the science project and Big Z showed off his new gadget on his bike and his pine box car.
The little pine box car isn't quite finished yet, but it will be by next Monday evening weigh-in. Getting into the house for tackling the rest of the freezer, putting goods back into it, cooking dinner all the while helping Big Z get the last of his science project info onto a board for the school science fair tomorrow evening.
Pollen must be floating around out there good 'cause my day has been filled with sneezes, blowing of nose, and an inflamed body (seems this season is bringing this on with the allergies). I'm happy bed-time is near and a new day will bring a new week ;-). Rest feels welcome.
It was fantastic to spend quality time with Big Z. It's not been often over the last years we get to share weekend time, time not attached to the scheduled clock. This is one of the reasons I kept Sundays off the work schedule, so we can take full advantage of our time together (we'll be flip-flopping partial weekend time until mid-June). I was glad for it, and it was wonderful to putt-putt around the pad in the warmth of springtime . . . I'm looking forward to more days like this, MINUS the pollen.
Had one check-in regarding info I'd sent to be reviewed. I replied with another email. I believe there was a mix-up in which email was intended to give info about Big Z Gives Big. So, I clarified where to find the links and from what email address to expect it (in case it went to the junk box). Will know soon if I am correct, or, whether a face-to-face is needed.
Filled out our April Grocery Rebate Coupon and look forward to sending it in the mail tomorrow morning. Any day we should get our first grocery rebate card for $25 -- YEAH.
Wishing you all a great night's rest AND a supreme week --- there is a lot in the works, and, so well, we'd might as well get after it: new shopping mall coming; new flash cash incentives; Ginny's challenge for the $500 grocery rebate that ends on TH; the new leads testing for Miracle Team Members; and more to come! http://www.bigzgivesbig.com
T-Day is just around the corner on May 2nd, too.

And, Sandra W. should be having her baby ANY day now . . . She's a Boot Camper Extraordinaire who continues to amaze me with her efforts as a pregnant mom with a full-time job, living in a new community and with a toddler at home AND giving a tremendous effort towards MPM. She's a leader and a wonderful person, so please cheer her on and say prayers for her and baby's well-being as they come into the home stretch; and add a few for her who family as they transition into their new time together.
