NO SCHOOL DUE TO FLOODING, Again.
Big Z got a different kind of school with his Dad. He has his schedule outlined from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. I spoke to him in the midst of it, and he felt tired. At the end of the day, when we met for piano class with a new teacher, he was more energetic. Big Z's last teacher had to step away from teaching for awhile, so no classes and structure since November 1. Looks like we've found another good instructor, so, his new lessons will begin soon.
Effort devoted to a project that MUST clear my desk in order for us to move forward. Expect to have its details attended to by tomorrow. Had a late evening discussion by phone with my employer regarding details and completion.
Accomplishments for the day:
- Morning and Evening Boot Camp Calls.
- 1 call to new person re: business; also shared re-commitment
- 1 f/u call to team member to discuss strategies to utilize AMEX Gift Card and Mall to maximize rebates, to double and triple dip
- 1 f/u call
- read latest blog postings; post 2 that were snatched last evening
- research number of leads at our disposal through Peak Impact
- discuss our new commitments and intentions for growth of Big Z's business with Big Z's father to ensure we're on same wavelength.
Amazingly, the day disappeared and it feels as if much didn't get accomplished. Big Z's piano class is very important, and the project I have to clear my desk is very important. Lastly, we had UNO game during dinner (our first dinner game experience).
The morning call had great training info with Ed B. and Ginny doing a roll-play about follow-ups. It was very valuable, so any that missed the call, check it out.
The evening call also had some important information, but I didn't write it down. Listen to it, too!
Itchy and antsy to get the new ball rolling, or, sticking with the theme, to get on my board and ride the wave . . .
