4. Sincerity. A good leader can be trusted.

5. Integrity. A good leader has principles and lives by them.

6. Poise. A good leader isn’t overbearing, but is friendly, assured.

7. Thoughtfulness. He or she is considerate, aware.

8. Common Sense. A good leader has good judgment based on reason.

9. Altruism. A good leader lives by the Golden Rule.
