The day began after a luxurious night's rest for both me and Big Z. It was really, really great.
I can't say for certain that outwardly much was accomplished in terms of a Boot Camp requirement. This week definitely shows that we'd not have been the kind of boot camper I was in the Air Force. It's inappropriate to post the term that my Technical Sergeant called me and a friend of mine for our good efforts. Suffice it to say, I'm not measuring up to my youthful experience ;-).
None-the-less, the day held it's accomplishments:
- 1 f/u with prospect. Discussion of more about biz. This person has resistance, is a friend, and just needs to sit in front of the machine and take a peek. Hers has been broken for a time, and she's not one to sit in front of it much. Will keep presenting the idea about Amex gift cards AND how businesses can benefit by getting rebates on their purchases of supplies and inventory AND gain rebates on the credit card they use to purchase with every month anyhow. In addition, how a business may list themselves in the Local Merchant Mall for great exposure for very little cost--- to the tune of $15.95/month.
- Attend AM Call (PM call cancelled): WOW, what an amazing time it was to hear the great training and sharing sessions with the Boot Campers and listen to Ginny's unexpected call to action this a.m. These calls just keep getting better and better--- and you all are becoming more masterful of the skills required for success. Kudos to YOU.
- Reading and responding to blogs. This is a highlight of my day, and though some MAY find it a means of procrastination (OK, I admit, there has been a time or two), it's a necessary activity in my mind and heart. You're all working so hard at your personal goals that it's challenging to keep reading and posting to everyone's blogs---It's easier for you to comment during a Boot Camp call, I'd guess. Therefore, I've volunteered to be the Blogging Cheerleader. Thankfully, you don't have to see my legs ;-). I'll continue to do my best to keep up with your rapid pace.
- The Project. Finished all to a point that I can have a free weekend. The rest requires a phone call next week that will determine more elements that can finalize it. The good news is that the heaviness I was feeling around it impeding my goals with MPM have been lifted. That feels really good.
- School in session, so Big Z had a great Friday. And, confirmation of the new piano instructor. First lesson begins January 19, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, and one day before President-Elect Obama takes office (I add that because Mr. Big Z just took a calendar and placed it on his wall yesterday. He stole away with a pen and it's only this evening I saw it. He told me that he marked the date Obama takes office on the calendar. He's been ever so interesting in this election, which just amazes me for his age. But then again, there are many younger kids who were swept up in this presidential election process.)
Internally, in the land of the unseen, I've been feeling the rippling action of the wave as it touches my feet with warm water, and I feel its humming vibration resonating within me. I look forward to tomorrow after a good night's rest with new eyes and new vision. Tomorrow is a day to catch up on details that have slipped aside. And, it's a day to get my board ready for the Wave Action.
