The Boot Campers, and anyone else following their dreams can take a lesson from Randy Wilt: Never give up on your dreams because success may come at any age.
There may be one point about Randy Wilt that is overshadowed by his successful attempt at his GED after 6 years --- that is that he had his own business for many years as an auto mechanic. "He made a great living and retired comfortably," the article states.
Isn't it wonderful that in our country, you can actually become a business person even if you don't have a high school diploma? Isn't it great you can have a thriving business even if you don't have a college degree? Isn't it great that small businesses owners are the backbone of America?
Ever read a book called "The Millionaire Next Door" by Thomas J. Stanley? Randy Wilt reminds me of the typical millionaire found in Stanley's books. He's the guy that owns the local auto shop, drives the same old car year after year, saves his money, treats his clients right, supports his community, and lives far below his means. Randy Wilt may not be a millionaire financially. I don't know what level of wealth he has today. But Randy Wilt does have millionaire spirit---
Quoting the CBS article by Steve Hartman, "He had 'amazing tenacity - to have that goal and not let loose of it,' recalled Thelma Slater, Wilt's tutor." (This is kind of like the Boot Campers have been describing of their "bull-dog" moments in this last week . . .)
Randy Wilt is a life-long learner and he's not sitting in a rocking chair until he passes from this earth. Instead, he's keeping his mind fresh and active, and now he's going to college. I wonder what else Randy Wilt will do with his life?
In the words of of SBIY, we say, Randy, we know you can get your college degree and more because . . .
Someone Believes in You.

What an awesome blog! I love it! I confess I have 2 SBIY`s come to me daily. At first it was one I sent out anonymously to a 19 year old girl who at age 16 lost all her movement in her body do to a simple gymnastics maneuver. Her story touched me so much how she still pushes on determined to walk again someday. I sent her the SBIY and have it copied to me as well every time she gets it and of course I have my own from being a World Changer.
As for the new song about MPM and the energy I am feeling that is a great idea and I will work on that. Yes I am busy but if I do not make time for myself I`m not where I want to be so I always will make time for me and my music. That`s my way of getting away if you will. Thank you for the comments and have a wonderful weekend!
